- “Give me the baby! Give me the baby!”
Those words are burned into Monica Nash’s memory.
She had just crawled out of the back window of her crumpled and totaled car, holding her 3-day-old daughter, when a man ran from the vehicle that hit her and demanded her baby.
That man fled in a waiting vehicle after witnesses stopped and before Milwaukee County Sheriff’s deputies arrived.
“I’m just sitting here in my head, praying to God, because this is just like the worst nightmare,” Nash said.
The hit-and-run crash happened on January 17, 2020.
Four years later, Nash is still fighting to solve the mystery of what happened to her on the side of Interstate 94, just west of American Family Field.

Crooked cop needs to be held accountable

This is the problem with law enforcement period doesn't matter where they are.Does it matter who they are?There is no accountability for the bad ones.
And most of the time they are allowed to resign before getting fired. This allows them to go to the next town and work there. Smh

In a regular everyday job, say working a register, the coffee shop, the burger shop, the laundry mat, whatever, never would you keep that job with five suspensions and ten disciplinary actions! So why in the world does he!? Especially when his job is to he assisting the public and he’s clearly not doing that!?

Horrible. This is why crime has gotten so bad in Milwaukee, there’s no consequences or even a proper investigation for attempted kidnapping, vehicular assault, why would they stop? There’s a guy who got hit while walking on Brady and he had to do his own investigation because the cops weren’t (until he went to the news), after he got out the ICU
Police let it happen and don’t investigate to make citizens suffer because they think everyone is against them
Why is he still on the force? He sounds drunk during the interview and was probably drunk the day of the accident

This sounds like a cover-up for a family member of the cops or a very close friend of the cops or a high ranking official that was drunk.
Is he working at another police station? Was the other car following her from the store? Is this police station/cops involved in child trafficking? That would be another angle I’d look into.
All the cops had to do was a six pack with the guys picture for her to pick out!

@@chairmanofthebored8684 it's possible, but I do know that my great(x4) grandfather got killed by revenuers rafting untaxed liquor and tobacco down the James River... that would have been the 1910s or so? He is considered the founder of our family, because he was from a... actually fairly wealthy family, who disowned him after he got a woman pregnant at college. Those Boones still refuse to associate with us.
