  • “Give me the baby! Give me the baby!”
    Those words are burned into Monica Nash’s memory.
    She had just crawled out of the back window of her crumpled and totaled car, holding her 3-day-old daughter, when a man ran from the vehicle that hit her and demanded her baby.
    That man fled in a waiting vehicle after witnesses stopped and before Milwaukee County Sheriff’s deputies arrived.
    “I’m just sitting here in my head, praying to God, because this is just like the worst nightmare,” Nash said.
    The hit-and-run crash happened on January 17, 2020.
    Four years later, Nash is still fighting to solve the mystery of what happened to her on the side of Interstate 94, just west of American Family Field.

    • @imhereforitall9218
      @imhereforitall9218 2 месяца назад

      Now it makes one wonder if this is one off or how many other times has this happened before? The only reason why she knew to navigate the process is because she was an employee of the department and she still could not get justice or at least not yet. Wonder if this all became national news how would they feel about it then? Maybe that is what needs to happen. So for those who have a lot of followers on different platforms pushing this story on those platforms will give it more potential to be picked up and pushed nationally.

    The guardrail thing is probably one of the craziest parts of this. They were gonna charge her for a guardrail that she had nothing to do with and they acted like they did her a favor by removing that charge? 🤣 oh "but we're not required to" yeah I bet you wouldn't be saying that if she sued the living out of you people for doing so. Smh lol. What a joke of a department. Thank you TMJ4 for bringing light to this,

      They thought she would go away because they did her a fake favor. Well... they thought wrong. Imagine if we lived in a world where investigative reporters did not exist or legally were not able to exist. There are actually countries like that, that the population of citizens are reduced to nothing. Yes the US has a lot of flaws it still needs to stick to comparable to other countries I think it could be far worse in my opinion.

With 3 witnesses and one a policeman who the officer does not put his name or correct phone number. It clearly shows this was racial. SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIRE THIS COP. THIS POLICE DEPARTMENT VERY CLEARLY IS NOT BEING TRANSPARENT. If this happened and exposed to 1 very brave and a woman who is not going to stop fighting, how many others have had the same outxome. Just one more police department that does what they want and there is no office above them one can get help for their unjustice.

The elected leaders of this community are pathetic!!! Someone is covering for someone. They didn't even investigate to see who was driving I'll bet. Traffic cams, stores in the area to see who got in the driver's seat and most of all... THE ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING OF THE BABY!!!

    Why is nobody talking about the 'why' here? These people hit Monica's car on purpose, tried to take her baby, had a getaway vehicle parked at that exact location on the side of a highway late at night, and were willing to completely abandon their 'accident' vehicle on the side of the road. The only way that makes sense is that it was a planned ambush to try to kidnap the baby. Which means that they would have followed her to that location. To do that they would have either known her, or of her, and waited for her to be released from the hospital, or they were stalking any woman who was leaving the Mat ward with a baby. Somebody wanted that baby and was willing to go to great lengths to get it. Monica said there was a man and a woman in that car. Was he stealing the baby for his wife to raise? Or for something more sinister? Or maybe to be sold to someone else? Whatever the reason, it was strong enough to warrant all of those steps and the risks involved. They could have crashed their car and been hurt. A cop may have caught them at the scene. By leaving the car there they basically forfeited it (or did they retrieve it from car jail at a later date?). The car went somewhere and we need to know where and why. And since the owner did not say it was stolen, then it has to be him.
    He was right there. His name, face, location, everything was, and is, known. That cop initially looked like he was doing a mostly proper investigation while still on-scene (based on the bodycam video). But I have to wonder how many coincidences would have to come together for all of that evidence to become deleted, lost, forgotten about, mis-spelled, and more to such an extent that the crime could not be proven? That's too many coincidences. I'm no conspiracy theorist, far from it, but this sounds even fishier than the accident/kidnapping scene itself. One cop can't mess up that badly by accident after serving for 24 years. Which means, most likely, that the suspect made it worth his while to bury this case. We know the cop had him identified on the incident night and that they spoke on the phone at least once. So, when did the bribe take place? Surely that cop didn't have prior knowledge that it was going to take place? He was at the scene within 2-3 minutes and that is on a major roadway. That's fast.
    The more I think about all of the details of this case, the fishier it smells! And now I know that cop has been on some sort of leave since February and resigned (probably retired with full pension) in early April, maybe a week or so ago. Why?
    I would say the whole thing could be made up if I had not heard that audio of those internal investigators interviewing him and him confirming everything that Monica and the witnesses said. And saw the dashcam video. So there's no doubt about how the incident itself went down. But the fact that it happened at all, and then appeared to be purposefully covered up, is quite alarming. Not just because it confirms the existence of crooked cops, but that there are people out there following new moms home and going to great lengths to try to steal their babies. That's my biggest concern. And nobody talked about that in this report. The focus is on the officer and not the suspect. I hope the case is re-opened. They may not be able to prove much in a criminal court, but at least it would acknowledge and validate Monica. And if she can't get criminal justice, she might be able to get civil justice via a lawsuit, which she will absolutely win. Those internal investigators have already made the case for her with that interview.
    Wow, I almost wrote a whole book there! But what a weird and fascinating story. Probably will see it on Netflix in a couple years. Whatever happens, I hope Monica finds peace and justice. She is brave, intelligent, and strong! If anyone can resolve this matter properly it would be her! You go Girl!!!
