Great review...I have the same model in 6 creed. with a 26 inch barrel and feel the same way about it. I would definitely buy another. With my handloads it shoots very good. 👍 One of my favorite coyote and deer hunting rifles.
I have the 6.5 in the wilderness series 24 inch barrel. Love it i have one complaint it's very finicky with ammo. My gun likes the 147 grain match i get 0.445 inch groups all day. You put any other ammo through it, it gets 1.342 group that's crap.
I had one of these in 308. The best load I could work up for it using 12 different kinds of bullets and 5 different kinds of powders was 1.1-1.2 MOA for 5-shot groups. For most match ammo it shot ~1.5-2 MOA for 5-shot groups. I sent it to Bergara twice to get it fixed. The first time they returned it without even telling me they were sending it back. I had to pay the courier to hold it. The 2nd time they sent it back with rust all over the bolt and inside the barrel. I asked for a refund because the gun didn't shoot worth a damn and they damaged my gun by making it rust. They then accused me of making up the rust/causing it myself and also of shooting handloads and refused to give me a refund. In the end I sold the hunk of junk and bought a Tikka CTR which averages ~0.5 MOA with every bullet/powder combination I have tried in it. Bergara rifles look like match rifles and Tikka rifles shoot like match rifles.
@@UltimateArms Yes, it could be an issue with the 308 version of the B-14 HMR or just bad luck on my part. Needless to say, I'm none too impressed with their reaction to my accuracy problems.
Wanting something with a more classic mid 2000s GWOT M24 form factor without dumping six grand into a build. Been obsessing over this rifle for a few days. I am SO SICK of the modern tactical side of things that I've been focusing on for a few years. I really just want some time to get back to a more traditional form, focus on marksmanship and outdoorsman activities, and take a little break from the doom and gloom of the "tactical" life. While still having something capable of employing in a tactical sense.

Yes but what caliber??
6.5 creedmoor
Groups may have been a little tighter if cheek weld was kept between shots. Great review otherwise.
more like the brake i was using. going to redo it without a brake on to see what happens
@@UltimateArmsdid you do it yet??
@@Mike-kh9gj not yet its been to hot here, to go shoot in.
