I wont edit or speed up as I style this wig so you can see how I style my basic textured wigs. If you want it more textured, you literally just need to cut more layers in 🤷♀️ simple

This is really helpful. I got my first wig a week ago and was really unsure how to cut it. But now I think I’m prepared enough to actually do it.
I cut and styled a friend's Denki wig while they had it on. they completely trusted me (due to my extra experience with wigs cutting and styling compared to them and other friends) It was extremely daunting and I kept asking what they wanted, but they just kept saying "do what you think will look good" This is the height of fear when styling wigs.
I just got 4 wigs a while ago and didn’t know how to style it. But this helped so much
You:"curl it inwards to make it look like your natural hair would."
Me:*feels in my hair*
Also Me: "well, honey darn sugarcubes, it DOES!"

This is extremely helpful, although I have a question! I've seen other people say you have to wash them after you get them; is that true? Or can you go straight into styling and wearing it like you did?
The only reason people wash them first usually is to help remove the shine. Ngl I've only ever washed 2 wigs and that's because they were old

Possibly! But I don't know any characters that have hair like this

Are there some wigs that can't handle the heat though, because the plastic just melts? I mean, I'm not sure but I don't want to accidentally melt the wig - w -
Yes but the important thing is to have hair straighteners that you can lower thr heat setting on. Start at the lowest and dont hold it on the heat and most should be fine. If unsure test a bit at the back first
