Ahh thank you so much! My best friend gave me a Emma (From TPN) wig that I want to turn into a Hinata Shoyo wig. Thankfully I have everything I need but wow I didn’t realize how hard this would be 🥲
It worked surprisingly well. The end result didn't fit the character, so I combed it out again but I definitely learned a lot. Now I know how to style wigs, I just need more practice :)

There is one absolutely vital point that should be made quite clear: Styrofoam wig heads are rarely the size of one's actual head. When cutting wigs, it's best to err on the side of caution and cut it a bit longer or find a tutorial on how wig blocks are made to custom size. Also, be VERY cautious with heat on synthetic wigs. They melt too easily.
In the future I am going to do a Hawks cosplay and, since you've cosplayed him already, probably know what kind of hair style he has and I had been stressed that I wouldn't be able to style it in a way I want so I just wanted to say BIG THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge with us, I am sure this video is going to help me a lot ❤️💞💖

you being british helps because i'm british too and a lot of tutorials i find are american so i can never find some of the stuff they use in shops here
I find Crimping & finding the spikes manually gives a much more professional effect plus it takes less time. The hairspray backcombing & bobbles seems so unnecessary and time consuming. (No hate) 💖
It isnt a method i use anymore. However this wig was far too cheap and thin/short to crimp well. Also I really personally hate how crimped hair looks on a wig

Yeah, at the time i wasnt educated on this myself. It was literally years ago now haha i used the proper heads now. Ty for sharing!
