You don't get how helpful this tutorial is!! I'm trying to style a wig for the first time (Gojo) and you're actually showing and explaining things and showing me what to use! I was having real difficulties trying to find tutorials with all those things. Thank you so much for making this!
I had finished XC 1 2 3 with DLC and wanted to rematch cutscenes knowing the whole story. As completed the several years apart. XD Glad you like the tutorial. Any questions let me know
I also often play Miraculous Ladybug in the background while I'm doing my nails or stuff with my hands since it doesn't require much concentration, or for me to look at the screen very often lol
Hi!! i need to style my wig but dont have a hair straightener or crimpet what should i do?btw love the video it is so well explained and made it way easier to understand
I would really advise buying a crimper if you can. Can get fairly cheap of amazon in UK. Don't need expensive one. But if not can be done without but won't come out looking the same imo. I used to do it before I had a crimper. But you can do without. :) just follow steps after crimper. Hope this helps
Thank you so much Moota for this video!!! I will definitely use this video for my Childe wig!! And thank you so much for showing also how to sew in extra hair! I want to do an OC cosplay and she has some crazy hair streaks and I had no idea how to sew them in 😅
No worries at all, so glad I could help you. Any questions don't hesitate to ask in the comments. The wig techniques I use work for any wigs, so go crazy with adding hair colours to ure OC, I bet it will look awesome. You can also add volume if you want using this. I wish you the best of luck :D
@MollieznLolliez Thank you so much!!! Whilst Childe will officially be my last cosplay of this year I think my oc cosplay will be... a work in progress 😅 Honestly tho I hope it comes out sorta well! Also quick question are those clips good for securing heavy wigs like ponytail ones?
Amazing!❤ Easy for my ethnic perspective to get our hair like this actually without needing a wig. I seen a guy style his natural hair EXACTLY like Goku's hair and Yami Yugi! Looks exactly like anime fantasy hair!! *.* He looks amazing and freaking kawaii!
Tysmm!!!Im planning on making a melusine fursuit and I was wondering how the hell up can the hair stand up on it's own while it will look natural when moving around lol(most people just sew two piece of fabric with hair together and put stuffings in it to hold the shape;-;)
Sometimes people will use wire to do this. Which is a more permanent way to style a wig. But takes alot more time. Then can't store and hard to transport. But this way you can get a decent spike :)
Thank you so so much for going into such detail!🫶🏼 I always feel like wig styling videos go over some parts of the process too fast or don't show it so I really like that you showed the entire process, it definitely helps a lot! Hope to keep seeing more videos like this, you are so talented ♥️

THIS IS SO HELPFUL!!! not styling a childe wig but a hu tao wig which I want certain parts to stick up, I do have a question though: I styled the wig I'm working on last year but its SO choppy and slightly damaged, I was wondering if you had any tips for fixing that? I left the strands slightly longer in case I did ever need to cut it down more luckily but there's so much going on I don't really know where to start :( Things I have available: got2b gel/hairspray, crimper, brushes and clips! should I start by attempting to section it out then tease then crimp it or just crimp it then try to trim it?? thank you!!
You may want to try and wash it to start with. Have a clean state and get any old hair gel off it. When brushing it I would recommend using a comb or a proper tangle teaser (I have done a restyling video where I had to brush out hair and I talk a bit about how best to do). Or if it has no products in it then a good thing if it looks slightly damaged is to use a straighter. Kinda remelts the filters so it's more straight and not frizzy. Only quickly straighten. Don't make too too hot. Hope this is helpful. Any more questions just leave a comment :)
@@MollieznLolliez thank you so much!! I'll check out your other video definitely, my straightener is an expensive model so it thankfully doesn't heat up super hot! I think I'll try straighten over the damaged parts like you said and see how it goes!

Hi! I wanna buy a crimpet but idk which one i should get so i wanna ask which one do u mostly use for styling ur wigs. Ur video is really helpful btw! 😁
Honestly I just brought a cheap one of amazon. But if your able I would buy a crimper with small thin crimp marks and a wide heating pad. As is alot quicker to use than a thin crimper (I have upgraded since this video). Cost me about 17 pounds :)
Hey, I've never done it (but have sprayed with some nice smelly stuff). If my wig gets super bad from constant restyling I get another one. I beleive with washing a wig you do loose alot of the crimp effect. But I'm not 100 percent certain. Sorry I can't be of more help
Hello! I’ve been eyeing your videos for a Dottore (and alhaitham in the future) cosplay and this video helped a bunch, but I do have a few questions!! - For long curls, (Dottore’s bangs) would it weigh down too much and would I need to use more glue/crimp more for those areas?? - Would this stay styled for an entire con (7 hours max) - how do you support the heavier areas of hair and how do you maintain the curls of the hair?? - how much practice would I need beforehand and how do I practice, could I jump right into designing Dottore’s wig? Thank you so much!!
1. For dottore's lenth wig (I have one so know the length) you should be fine. It's not super long. I wouldn't use tooo much spray (or don't spray too close) or you will see the spray on the wig and won't look it's best. I would just use a normal amount. But allways crimp really well to start with (then you never have to crimp it again - takes time but is worth it I promise :) ) 2.I find crimping means it will keep it's shape for the longest (except for when you use wire and start to go for super permanent styling). I first style my wigs like this. Then do cons where I'm wearing for sometimes plus 7 hours and stays perfectly fine. Then between cons I'll do a 40 min touch up. (Just spray in lose strands into spikes). As some strands come lose but nothing bad. And I have done some... heavy partying shall I say in these wigs and still keep most of it's shape! :D (Will reply to final point on next comment as when typing can't see your comment and can't remember).
In terms of time, I did my first crimped wig in a novemeber and made this video but the July after (probable doing about 3 to 4 wigs in that time). But I didn't have a tutorial exactly. I watched the odd bits and bobs. The only think I will say is if you want curls for dottore watch some other videos but I'd try. If you have a spare wig you don't want, try and technique out on that before you try it on your real wig. But you gonna improve with practice naturally. But I'd say dive right in, you learn on the job best imo. :) Best of luck with your dottore wig!!! He's a fun guy to cosplay. :)

Hey! Will in the next few months be releasing a non crimping styling video. Basically, follow the steps after crimping in this video. Section it out and use got 2 be hair spray and hair dryer. If you want one bit to stand up a bit, you can back comb base of the wig a bit, giving it a bit more volume. Hope this helps :)
Would you recommend vertically crimping I heard and saw it a few times in video it’s supposed to hide the crimp marks way more have you yourself tried it before?
@stazeykakeru7042 you can. I just find if you crimp the strands you want together it's helped them stay together. It's just how it works in my head. And easier to keep track of what you have done. But your choice

@cerenos there are other methods you can do without crimping. Back combing is one. I intend to make a video after Christmas around this. The wig will look alot messier before it gets better. You have to trust the process. In terms of crimper mine only costs like 12 pounds. Was cheapest on amazon. It depends what effect your going for. @yokaiwatchuniverse what you wanna do here is try and style it to your face. Make the bits in front of ear curve inwards a bit and it will look like it sits a bit better. Make sure its the right size so it sits on your head correctly. :)
