The Mole5eya is made from Mole5eya leaves, that are very finely cut and broth is then added (usually chicken or beef sometimes duck) then fried garlic is added. Also you eat the pigeon with your hand man, head first and everything that falls on the plate you eat with the spoon at the end.

Ah so what exactly is the Molokhia plant ? Because we have never heard of it before, so we thought it was spinach😂
I thought I ate it wrong haha, so do you cut it open first or just rip it open with your hands ?

The Mulukhiyah is vegetable that looks like a plant and what's inside it makes the soup so thick. The pigeon you just dive in head first then begin then limbs then chest and spoon whats left. For more exotic foods you need to try;
1) kawareh soup from the same place (cow hooves)
2) Akkawi (sometimes soup or Tagin)
3) All kinds of Mahashi (Stuffed vines leaves and different vegetables
4) Fatta (Meat with crunchy bread rice
5) Picked eggplant
6) Harissa spicy sauce
7) Mombar (Egyptian sausage fried)
8) Nakanek (Egyptian sausage with pomegranate sauce
9) Moussaka (Eggplant tomato meat can be cold or hot)
10) Renga (Herring)
11) Fiteer Meshaltt with Molasses or honey (Egyptian Pastry)
12) Keshk (rice yogurt flour chicken or meat)
13) Macarona Bashamel (Egyptian Lasanga)
14) Sabanekh (Egyptian spinach)
you are correct about the cinnamon flavor, meat in Egypt is normally seasoned with it along with 6 other spices. ( seven spices mix)
The pigeon looks wayyyyy much better than that in Bolivia hahaha😂😂😂

Also you can tell the waiter that you want the rest of your food as a take away, we do this to minimize waste

@@zingwibrothers molokhia soup goes back to Ancient Egypt. I thought I would mention that beer was also produced and loved in ancient times. Glad you enjoyed, I also enjoyed a nice holiday in Germany years back.
We eat molochiyya either with rice or with bread (by making a cone and filling it with the soap)

Bro that's not how we eat pigeon in that way . U have to eat with hands not with fork . Also u ate the rice only and left the meat which exist between the ribs and under bones . U ate no meat in this pigeon I believe u ate the rice only . U have to hold it with hands and keep eating the whole of it till few bones only are left there

Molokhia is not Spinach ,, it is leaves like Spinach but it is different , and yes you can eat it with either bread ( but balady bread not this one ) or rice Very nice video..

Molokhia is called jute mallow in english. Some folks eat it as a soup, others eat it with bread or you can eat it mixed with rice. Eating it with rice is my preference
Ur soposed to put he molokhia on the rice and yes a lot of people eat it with bread
