No, she doesn't. She decided to not be the mom, to avoid it. Andi was raised by her grandpas, her whole world was around them She's a teen trying to figured out teen stuff. Bex should have waited for her to be more matured and even waiting, at least Andi would have reacted better Bex was not the mom for years, she just doesn't decide to be it out of blue
What really hit the hardest was when the mother said, “I never knew that today was the day I’d lose my daughter...” and how Bex is like, “I’m standing right in front of you.”and the mom is like, “Not you!” That really must’ve been hard on her.... Well both women.....
Because, Bex was being insensitive towards the situation. Her and CeCe have a strained relationship because of her impulsiveness and irresponsibility. CeCe is strict and her rebellious daughter was not helping. When she became pregnant, she should’ve abandoned those ways a long time ago. You don’t abandon a kid because they call your Mom-Mom. - The two could’ve raised Andi as their own, which they do now, with CeCe allowing her the space for motherhood. I never liked how Bex revealed that she was the birth mother of Andi. She did it behind CeCe’s back and cause her (overly-dramatic and protective) mother to go into a panic mode. Classic example of Bex being impulsive. Glad she somewhat grew as a character.

Andi still has the right to the truth I’m 15 and was 14 when my baby’s father now 16 was 15 and my baby isn’t here yet but my mom gave me the option of abortion adoption or raising the baby as my little sister or brother so I could finish school I chose neither but understand with postpartum depression it’s hard to take care of yourself and a baby some women kill themselves or their babies because it’s too much maybe they wanted another baby and she didn’t want to be pregnant so she took the little sibling option but she was in too deep she probably wanted to tell her from day one but didn’t know how so before you jump to conclusions or be rude put yourself in her shoes REALISTICALLY!

Bex has every right to tell her own daughter that she’s her mother even though the situation may have been complicated. From the trailers I've seen, I felt very compelled to watch this episode, if only to find out what the "secret" is. Needless to say, I was not dissappointed at all. I mean, the Disney Channel, which by this point has been even more of a place for tweencoms than TeenNick, tackling such a topic as teen pregnancies, and to have Andi act accordingly to this news, just, wow. You have made a production worthy of primetime reruns on ABC.
I think the reason I love andi and Bex’ relationship so much is because it reminds me so much of Rory and lorelai.. but like at the same time they’re totally different! But yeah idk it’s like their mother-daughter relationship just makes me nostalgic.
I wish we had this when I was a kid. I had a friend in this exact situation, and she thought she was messed up. Would have been nice to have had something to go “see, your not the only one”

Honestly, if this show came out on free form this show probably would have had a couple more seasons. It wouldn’t have been canceled. I mean come on, a teen pregnancy with a mom learning how to actually be a mom and not just the cooler older sister and a gay kid learning about his sexuality and coming out to his friends and having a crush that turns into something more then a crush. Those storylines would have been amazing for free form and we could have seen them going through middle school and high school just learning about real life without some cheesy storylines that Disney loves putting in there shows. And they could have put in some dark storylines in there too like the show The Fosters had.
Am I the only one who feels like this would’ve worked better in the latter half of the season and the 2nd season focuses on the aftermath of that revelation.Like at the beginning half;have it just be like a normal sitcom with a girl,living with her mother,father and older sister with hints that there’s something between the family she (and the viewer) doesn’t know. So by the middle to end (personally I believe it should be closer to the end)you’ve become accustomed to Bex just being Andi’s “cool and rebellious” older sister.So when she reveals the truth that the show was dropping hints to,the viewer will have some semblance of what Andi’s thinking.it being revealed in the first episode makes it hit less harder than I feel it should’ve.
Well I feel like they had to have it in the first episode to draw people into the show. Around this time Disney Channel was falling off so they needed to include the plot twist in the first episode to show people that this was gonna be different from anything that they’ve done before.

Ok, I'll give Disney Channel this, this is one the most shocking, trippiest dramatic twists I have seen from them in a while. I'm impressed that they green-lighted this. This is something you would see on an adult show and would probably confuse a lot of kids. You know this is the same TV channel that gave us Camp Rock right? You know, Demi Lovato rocking with the Jonas Brothers. Now we have sisters revealing that they're mother and daughter. I to make it clear, that I mean this as a compliment. This is a very bold and surprising decision by the channel and I tip my hat to them for it. It reminds me of The Color of Friendship or Ruby Bridges. You know that Disney Channel movies take more risks and delve into more adult content. I usually like those stories and this one looks to be going in the same direction. I hope to see more like it in the future.

When I first saw a clip of this show, I didn't realize it was a Disney Channel show. The lack of an obnoxious laugh track threw me off.
What’s sad is andi’s mothers parents say she had no right to tell andi they truth and that’s dumb and selfish . She had the right to know . They show was not suppose to be on Disney at all . Too much information and for kids that age . 27 years I was also living a lie and found out about my real dad . I’m not alowed to call him dad or talk to him not even now and 27 . He left when I was just a baby because I’m born with microcephaly that’s a disability . My life is kind of like this but different but my mom and everyone is selfish . I didn’t know I was dissabled until after I left 10th grade as a child around 16-17 . I became a artist and yet still not discovered on social media . Andi’s grandparents that think their her parents had no right to tell their daughter not to tell andi . Her grandparents had no right and they never gave birth to andi. She deserves the truth and it’s selfish. .
