Kira is the only character I did not like in this otherwise outstanding sitcom. She was just so unlike able to the point where I actually skipped over some of the scenes that she was in because I never liked her. She was just rude to every character. For example, she made fun of and hated Cyrus just because he was Buffy and TJ’s friend. Kira was the only character I didn’t like in this otherwise beautiful, elegant sitcom that I can’t recommend enough.
I do like how the show has characters that just. do not get better. I’m all for character development and improvement but sometimes, people come into your life that you don’t like and it stays that way. Sometimes they don’t change. And I’m so glad Andi Mack has characters like that. I’m sure Kira has at least a bit of development in events after the show (out of focus, more off-screen, of course), but not everyone was about to be the GHC’s friend. It’s so important to illustrate relationships that don’t end up all peaches and cream, ‘cause it’s more realistic and helps kids acknowledge that at some point in their lives, they too will meet a person they dislike, and maybe they can’t learn to love them. Heres what i have to say... Buffy mentions that they trip coming out of the locker room. Well when I played volleyball that happened all the time to me. Im a klutz, but on the court they called me a ballerina. I never fell, i never tripped, and because i was so used to hit the ground and getting back up like nothing happened, i was the one to chase the balls and hit my knees and slide to save it. This also happened when i basketball but its less consequential cause i only hit the ground a few times to posess a ball and stop it from gling out of bounds. Point is, it doesnt matter the level outside the court (except attitude, attitude matters everywhere) it's what you do when youre on the court that counts. This has been some very unneeded imformation, but thank you for coming to my ted talk.

I’ve never watched the show but I will say, judging from what I’ve seen, she screams insecure. She’s a cool person without the issues but she definitely insecure. She doesn’t think of herself as good as she makes it appear. You can tell that when she sees the people she likes, hanging out with others, she becomes insecure because she compares Her self to others. She feels inferior. Especially to sirus since she’s attached to TJ. She doesn’t want sirus to take what she’s afraid to lose, so she becomes defensive and since she has negative emotions towards Cyrus, and she acts so negative towards him and Buffy as well, since Buffy didn’t accept how Kira act. She makes fun of people to make herself feel better. Etc. She needs a lot of work on done her but my theory is she didn’t have a good child hood, maybe life at home wasn’t or isn’t good, so she always has this shield/wall up, maybe she gets picked on at home, so when someone points out something she does wrong, she gets defensive because of what she might deal with at home, I really hope they gave insight as to why she acts the way she does, because she really has a lot of potential to set an example for real life issues. She’s fun and cool until she doesn’t get her way. Seems like she doesn’t get a lot of attention and wants attention but in the way she’s lacking. Seems that she even fears abandonment as well. But I could be wrong since I don’t watch the show.

She needs a lot of work on done her but my theory is she didn’t have a good child hood, maybe life at home wasn’t or isn’t good, so she always has this shield/wall up, maybe she gets picked on at home, so when someone points out something she does wrong, she gets defensive because of what she might deal with at home, I really hope they gave insight as to why she acts the way she does, because she really has a lot of potential to set an example for real life issues. She’s fun and cool until she doesn’t get her way. Seems like she doesn’t get a lot of attention and wants attention but in the way she’s lacking. Seems that she even fears abandonment as well.
