In this video, I walk you through how to use ARCADE made by Output.
Arcade is a Loop Synthesizer that allows you to play AND transform loops in real-time.
You can use the white keys to trigger the loops, and the black keys to modify the sounds.
There are SO many sounds and presets you’ll probably want to just start playing there first, but if you wanted to just use it as a sampler you can also use your own loops as well.
2 main components of Arcade:
LINES- have themes (SERIES)
Within the lines are KITS- think of it like arcade presets, Just a group of loops and sounds that go together (EPISODES)
The black keys transform the sounds using 3 functions:
sequencer
playhead
repeater

"Instead of Hihats"....I really like that one. I use the loops on that feed a lot. It gives me more options and ideas than the typical note-repeat patterns I make with hihats..

You will have to route your file to the place that you would like them to go. I route all of mine through an external hard drive!

I have 3 months of trial and I can open arcade on standalone but everytime i open on my fl studio it keep saying I am offline although i am not offline.Anybody know why I am facing this issue.

How do I record the arcade sounds in FL Studio? The keys won't play on my keyboard, but they will if I click on the notes on the piano roll, but even when I do that it still doesn't record anything

Hey Kris, how do you duplicate your loops so fast without dragging them out? Also, I see how to create audio from midi, but is there a shortcut for that to do it faster?
hey there! I use command R to duplicate regions quickly :) Not sure of a shorter way to convert midi to audio, just bouncing in place works for me!

Command R repeats any selected looped regions.
To bounce MIDI tracks in place (convert to audio):
⌃B Bounce selected Regions in Place
⌃⌘B Bounce entire Track in Place

I am getting a black screen when I log in to Arcade using windows 10. What is going on ?

How do I delete a kit that I’ve downloaded? I see no way to do it...
I think you'd have to go into Finder (if you're on a Mac) to do it. Output's website says the files live here:
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Output/ARCADE/ARCADE Content
PC: C:\ProgramData\Output\Arcade\Arcade Content
@@ProduceLikeaBoss figured it out. Had an older version of the software and had to update. Now you can delete kits from the plugin. Thanks though!
I still don't know where to start, my computer is old and still windows 7 and I have an old Yamaha keyboard but I am a musician I can't see what equipment I need to work on my film project. can you help me get set up for this?

this makes production simple. so try a traditional program also, so you learn the basics.
Note: I just found out, when on Feed, if you click anywhere in a box other than the download circle and the "audition" speaker to hear a sample, it will download everything even though you didn't click anywhere near the download button. As I learn more I'm sure I'm going to love Arcade, but beware and click carefully.

Great Vid!! So informative....I was having a rough go at getting loops to line up with one another and to snap to grid in logic. You make it look easy. I feel better now. Thx:) I wonder if setting arcade to quantize (you had it turned off in ellipsis menu near top of vid) would allow things to fit together better without having to quantize after every instrument you add within logic pro. Off to practice!

I thought this was great, could you do more video's on REPURPOSING samples as I seen your Royality Free Video which shook me up a bit, most people use Royality free samples today. Can you get in trouble if you dont change Arcade samples or splice and Loop cloud.
Sure I can totally do more vidoes on repurposing! :). It's not really about getting into trouble, so much as it's more of a pain and puts you at risk of someone saying you stole their song when you both just used the same sample. In order to avoid sounding exactly like somebody else, repurposing is the way to go! :)

@@mrbennett After 3 hours of creating an account, downloading, installing, activating and finally getting to run it, I was so underwhelmed by the damned thing I uninstalled it and promptly canceled my subscription.
I realized I could make due without another synth. Output opened my eyes to having too much while using too little.
@@kiillabytez Wow! I agree that sometimes we acquire more than we really need. What were you hoping Arcade would do for you? Perhaps, I know something that could achieve it easier.
@@mrbennett Actually, I heard so many great things about this, and with all the ads in my face every day for months, I felt compelled to try it, thinking it would be absolutely groundbreaking. While I find the GUI appealing, I do NOT in fact find the VSTi itself to be very inspiring at all. I was so disappointed in this thing. I'm sure it is an incredible tool for beginners to make music with, but I've been producing roughly 15 years and I found Arcade to be lackluster and really not that useful.
Another thing that killed it for me was the fact that I fought for an hour to get them to accept my card, and finally had to use PayPal, who incidentally uses the same card I was using when trying to sign it up with Output!
The whole experience has been complete garbage.

5:42 you have to hold the black key to modify it ? Or change the notes
The white keys trigger the samples, and the black keys modify how they are played back.
ok download the arcade but i cant manage to record music i heard you need a pc or mac to record music or sounds but i have a hp home computer which one would you recommend? to download

You can add arcade to another track as a second instrument but it uses up CPU that way as well

My arcade output is echoing back when I play the samples. I’m using mac 💻 I edited my sound output settings and it’s still doing it. Are you able to help ?
Is there a way to link sounds in a kit to separate mixer channels?
You can try duplicating the track and routing the duplicate to a new track! But as far as I know, that's not a feature right now, sorry!

Only problem is what is the price for this and what is the recommended keyboard to get for because they don't even have any of that information on their site there's not even a contact form or anything on their site it looks cool and all but I wouldn't trust anybody that does not have any information on their site for me to go through about how much the price is and what able to be used and what's not and no contact info they only let you start a free trial for 30 days and they don't even tell you how much anything is

You said that, "you could build a kit manually." But how? The only way that I've been able to do something remotely close is to drag and drop the sample once for each white key and then move the sample start and end cursor. Or chop up the sample first. Hopefully there's an easier way. I stopped the video and scrubbed through and it doesn't look like slicing is in this tutorial...
That is the way to build a kit manually, and you're right; it is a bit tedious!
How do I get my DAW to record everything I do in ARCADE?
Been paying for this for over 2 years....just couldn't get used to it. Your tutorial really made things clear. It's not a keyboard and I can't drag full midi loops......it's really just a really nice sampler you trigger. Thanks for clearing that up, pretty sure I'm going to use it more from now on...
