If they offered 3 months I would have signed in a heartbeat. But I might not have a choice and just sign up for 6 months. High season is upon us and staying in hotels etc will get too expensive.
I guess the unknown variable is exactly how many days you’ll spend away from Siem Reap, you could probably do some sums on the maximum number of days you would have to spend outside Siem Reap before you start losing money
@Derek Backhouse You can rent monthly rooms not going through real estate for $270 per month but no washing machine no lounge room. Hotels in good areas are asking for $350 to $450 per month. All these prices are usd... a lot of places do monthly rents for locals but foreigners aren't getting anything less than 6 month contracts unless they are willing to pay 33% more.
@@rayklein1125 I totally agree with your sentiments. I think she is ripping off people with the gas. In my $270 apartment video, the landlady offered a new gas can, albeit for the half the size, for only $7!
It may be close to pub street - but $200 isn't ''cheap'' ! -?- A $ 50 room is "cheap" !!! You can get a lot of rides for $150 / month !!! -- Or rent a scooter for half of that ???
Are there apartments and or houses in Cambodia that are ground level with no stairs in the unit?
Yes, there are. All the houses are ground level. With apartments, I'm not sure.
Nice,,!
"How many apartments IS available in this building ?" ........ Must be an English teacher.
Where abouts is this apartment
Information is in the description.
I would say 10-15 min to Pub Street.
Noise outside,,
Do you think you’ll choose one to rent? 6 months might work out well if you end up going the East Asia route towards the end of your 12 mths

My friends stay there a lot lot less money
OMG, a two room apartment with a balcony and WIFI. It's so cheap.
Your paradigm needs to change to understand the fact.
