I will arrive Febuary 2024 to live permanently in Siem Riep and with such an abundance of available properties I am looking forwards to finding one that I will feel happy in and suit my interests. A friend is there now and saying it is a good time to consider Siem Riep as a location to retire in and not to worry about finding accommodation in any budget range as there are many for each. keep up the great work UE

excellent report on really nice apartments, thank you. white, neutral, bright walls and floors. comfortable furniture. thick curtains. wide, spacious rooms. clean. swimming pool. only two floors in each building. when you state the travel times is this by motorvehicle? what about wifi and water service? i wonder about the dirt road in the rainy season. i assume that, with the manager living there, crime and maintenance are not worries. can you kindly report about the price and availability of small cars there? frankly i would hesitate to use motorbikes in a place with poor medical care, a simple accident might become a medical disaster. an in depth look at supermarkets and hospitals/clinics would also be very useful. thank you!

The reason why Cambodia 🇰🇭 cost of living doesn’t fluctuate like Thailand and the Philippines is because you can use u.s dollar in Cambodia as form of payment or you can use the Cambodian currency.So this system that they have established in Cambodia allows the u.s dollar and Cambodia currency to be aligned with each other.In Malaysia 🇲🇾 similar story that’s why also in Malaysia they don’t have major price fluctuations either😊.
