Late 40s dude here 💪💪……I don’t worry about it’s effects concerning gains but I typically prefer to ice bath first thing in the morning or late evening time.
Hey hey hey Al, i have a tough question. I was doing pistol squats 2 or 3 times a week, but when I started practicing kickboxing every day for competition, it was killing my performance! Recovering from pistols interferes with kicking, and being sore from kickboxing makes the pistol squats harder! From an athlete, how do I strike the right balance? Should i just regress my squats???
Maybe do your pistols only once per week.
