I would say midnight club 2 is my top favorite game because of it's difficulty spike and frustrating races. May not have customization but the racing difficulty, characters, music and settings makes it more memorable and exciting back then also MC2's ost is absolutely banger. Midnight club 3 and L.A is fun but it's just more relaxing and laid back with customization the game is easy as cake even with difficulty turned up. I haven't played MC1 but I'll try it one day.

No game gives you a better sense of speed than the bikes in MC2. Not to mention the music is bar none the best and the characters have so much more personality than anything ever since
Dude, you’re good at commenting. You had a lot to say but didn’t sound long winded. Just making one point after another. Not as easy as you are making it look. As for this game series, I give MC3 Dub the edge because of the multiple cities and the co-branding with the premiere car tuner magazine at the time certainly helps.
I haven't played 3 since I was a kid when it first released, and I routinely revisit 2 so take this with a grain of salt but, the thing I loved about 2 that I don't recall with 3 was the unclear path to the next checkpoint. In 2, it's often the case that the next checkpoint is not on the next corner, or not just down the street. You often hit a checkpoint and are left wondering, where to next? How do I get to the next checkpoint? What's the quickest path? Is that the path that preserves my speed the best? Thinking back on midnight club 3, I seem to recall that it was common for the next checkpoint to be right in front of you, or at the corner you need to turn on next. Sure, it let you focus on your racing more, but it really took the thrill of discovery and hitting the correct path just right out of the game for me. Which by chance happens to be the part I loved most.
MC2 is by far the best one here (We even got a PC release for that one!). It lacked the customization that's for sure, but it more than made up in everything else. The gameplay is FIRE still to this day
Mc2 was a great game. It just lacked in areas that 3 did a lot better imo. More balanced of a game too and gave the player a lot of options in so many ways.

MC2 is easily my favorite. It's a game that I still play once a year, 20 years later. Everything you described as shortcomings for LA is why I just hate that game as a whole. I haven't played MC1, but I'd even rank that above LA just from watching the gameplay. MC3 is cool, but also where I started to check out. Best Midnight Club Is Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix It's the only one i still have then again I only Bought Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix & Midnight Club LA
It would be great if rock star could make another midnight club ... it would be so awesome if they could make midnight club Westcost vs Eastcost edition .. new York, detroit, atlanta.. vs san diego Los Angeles, and another city in the west like Seattle or San Francisco... 6 cities map in one freakin game
I didn't like Midnight Club LA due to the visibility, its hard to focus with all the motion blur and the weird camera angles when drifting. The PSP version felt better lowkey. Midnight Club 2 is better than LA by a long shot and I do agree Midnight Club 3 is the best Midnight Club game.
Wish you had mentioned the over the top characters you meet in story mode and how they take themselves too seriously to a point where it feels like parodying people with such egos in that scene! Plus having the racers interact with each other duing races and like some racers starting early/playing dirty (see Angel) does give the game, along its atmo and like change up in weather that affects races, quite the personality that imo is lacking in the later two games.
I liked all of them except for Midnight Club LA. The difficulty is just too intense in Midnight Club LA. It took all of the fun out of the game. Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition is the best in the series. Everything just feels perfect and the customization is outstanding.
midnight club LA isnt even hard. and if you think its hard then imagine if rockstar actually released the original midnight club LA. which if you didnt know was extremely more difficult than the one they released.
@Abdul-wahaabKhalil actually it was released in the difficult state but they put out an update that dialed it down If you play the original release on a PS3 or 360 offline and compare it to say playing it on a XB1 or Series X with the latest updates the difference in difficulty is night and day
@@P_D-px6iv If that’s true maybe I will give it another chance. I remember playing Midnight Club LA when it first came out in 2008 on PlayStation 3 and being severely disappointed with how tough the single player game was. I was renting it from GameFly at the time and sent it back fast. Maybe I will give it another chance if I can play it on PlayStation 5. I don’t think it’s available for any modern consoles besides the Xbox Series X.
@@gnrtx-36969 I don’t know. I played Midnight Club 2 without any problems. When I played Midnight Club: Los Angeles it was virtually unplayable because the AI competition was practically unbeatable. Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition is my favorite in the series with balanced gameplay and a great selection of vehicles and customization.
Never played 1 and 2, and hated LA. I had never even heard of Midnight Club when I got my hands on 3 back in the day. I don't even have a clue how I got it. At that point I only got new games for Christmas and my Birthday upon request, and I wouldn't have requested something if I didn't know what it was. But alas, I had it...and I loved 3 to death. I didn't like LA for the same reason I don't care much for a lot of racing games now. Gen 6 had Arcade racers figured out...the idea of cars going super fast and turning on a dime, without having to rely on slowing down and fucking drifting, was it...they just needed to keep this ideal and not try to force real world mechanics into it. Since Gen 7 arcade racing games have been okay at best and non-existent at worst. LA did like everything else and tried to make it feel grounded which ruined what made the gameplay work so well to begin with.
Put The Models of Dinoco Lightning McQueen no. 95, Tow Mater, Sally Carrera, Doc (The Fabulous Hudson Hornet no. 51) from Cars Xbox 360 video game and The Models of Junior Moon, Louise Nash and River Scott from Cars 3: Driven To Win in a storyline video game series of Midnight Club right now please? I want to see it in a 100% longplay walkthrough video.
Midnight Club 3, Grand Tourismo 4, Need for Speed Underground 2, Forza Motorsport, Burnout 3: Takedown, Ford GT, Street Racing Syndicate are the greatest!
@cimbakahn the first one is easily my favorite closed road street racing game It's leaps and bounds better than NFS Underground 1 You just gotta get used to the physics, it was one of the first racing games to implement simcade physics (steering is a little touchy, you can spin out, damage effects performance, etc) Juiced 2 sucked though stay away from that garbage lol But I highly recommend Juiced 1 with the Green RX8 on the cover Sound track was also top notch easily one of the best OSTs for a street racing game
Mc1 is like a steroid version of midtown madness 2. But its soundtrack is derrick may which actually makes it the best of the entire series for how cool and artistic it is to include such a sophisticated soundtrack. I cant believe you had no reaction to it. Strings of life?????

5:25, bro you totally Brian O'conner'd those dudes. 6:03 Yeah, 3 is the same way from my experience. I heard a retro-reviewer recently called it the Dark Souls of racing games.
Edit: Brakes.
I personally like MCII more than the others sum different about it 🙂
Same here I love MCII out of all I only racing game I can replay with no issue
I should be racing no more than 3 people on Midnight Club ii
Best Midnight Club Is Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix
It's the only one i still have then again I only Bought Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix & Midnight Club LA
3 is the best
My fav midnight club of all time is mc3 remix i have in my RGH xbox 360
Well said
MC3 dub edition remix 🔥🔥
#MC3 is the best. The soundtrack is too - miles above LA.
MC2 is the best!
The RAIN LOL
Midnight club 2 was the best
I didn't like Midnight Club LA due to the visibility, its hard to focus with all the motion blur and the weird camera angles when drifting. The PSP version felt better lowkey. Midnight Club 2 is better than LA by a long shot and I do agree Midnight Club 3 is the best Midnight Club game.
Yallll tag mannie fresh
Thanks mannie fresh for the classic song it’s crazy cuz till this day I love that song for midnight club it’s ever lasting
My ranking
1 Midnight club 3
2 Midnight club 2
3 midnight club LA
4 midnight club LA psp
5 midnight club 1
@Abdul-wahaabKhalil actually it was released in the difficult state but they put out an update that dialed it down
If you play the original release on a PS3 or 360 offline and compare it to say playing it on a XB1 or Series X with the latest updates the difference in difficulty is night and day
@@P_D-px6iv If that’s true maybe I will give it another chance.
Mcla more difficult? what i can hear is skill issue lol
Mcla is one of the easiest midnight club in the series and the hardest one being 2
@@gnrtx-36969 I don’t know.
MIDNIGHT CLUB 3 DUB EDITION REMIX is the best title overall!
mc2 was the best, it aged so well
Midnight Club 3, Grand Tourismo 4, Need for Speed Underground 2, Forza Motorsport, Burnout 3: Takedown, Ford GT, Street Racing Syndicate are the greatest!
Also Juiced!
@@P_D-px6iv I haven't tryed Juiced yet. I am very interested in that game.
@cimbakahn the first one is easily my favorite closed road street racing game It's leaps and bounds better than NFS Underground 1
You just gotta get used to the physics, it was one of the first racing games to implement simcade physics (steering is a little touchy, you can spin out, damage effects performance, etc)
Juiced 2 sucked though stay away from that garbage lol
But I highly recommend Juiced 1 with the Green RX8 on the cover
Sound track was also top notch easily one of the best OSTs for a street racing game
@@P_D-px6iv Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to check it out.
6:20 - 6:24 yeah this is so true and hilarious 😂😂😂😂
Mc1 is like a steroid version of midtown madness 2. But its soundtrack is derrick may which actually makes it the best of the entire series for how cool and artistic it is to include such a sophisticated soundtrack. I cant believe you had no reaction to it.
Strings of life?????
Mc2 had the best soundtrack.
Dom & Roland too
Also i don't like the SUV Race. There was an SUV that looks like Sedan, actually. That car dominated the whole race 💀
La is best science it's MC 3 But wigh heck of a Expanded custiomization:)
Fortunally nfses are evolving into midnight clubs:)
