4k camera is a wider picture. I used 4k to get all the singers in the video. HD wasn't wide enough. As a comparison, using your phone in portrait mode makes you move the phone more or faster. Landscape mode gives you more in the video without moving the phone or just a little. 4k will let you get the whole intersection in view without moving the camera. You can zoom in on 4k video without being blurry.
Dash cams have been great for me to have, my lawyer use the footage to prove the other person was at-fault, so I highly recommend them! I have had a two channels and 3 channels in the past and I now currently have a four-channels, it records front back inside, left side and right side!
Great review of the camera. Ours over writes too so it would be nice to have that feature because we always forget to take it out. Nice to see others still call it a cigarette lighter too. 😂

Most of the time they reach out through our website. I turn down about 95% of them because it’s not anything I want or need. I accepted this one because we already had their base model and liked it but we’re intrigued by their offer of the three camera model. If you have no need for the inside or back, just a main dash cam is fine. We like this company. I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

Are you still happy with the A229 Pro?
Overall yes: we really don’t need the internal cab camera but the back camera is very handy for hitching up. I’d buy it just for that.
