She resisted plastic intervention for a few year saying she would NEVER do it again but then caved..

I stopped drinking at 23 because I was having health issues. Im 28 now. Best decision ever. You can see things clearer. People clearer. They’ve had different lives. Ellen didn’t have the same chances or privileges during her youth. She had to struggle a lot against an abusive stepfather and her coming out too. Assuming homosexuality, living a life trying to overcome judgements, was not picnic either. Also, Ellen didn’t go trough plastic surgery.

I just read both hers and late brother Peter's memoirs, both had their first kid in their 3rd year of marriage. In addition, both have a son and daughter. Finally, they married their last spouse later in life. Sometimes you have to wonder how their lives would have been different if their mom Frances had not committed suicide, or Henry had been more attentive and loving. It is sad fate did not allow Peter to see 80 next year, but at least he lived to see his 70's. For various reasons, some of his peers didn't. He lost two dear friends, Bridget and Stony to suicide at very young ages. Jane was good friends with Sharon Tate.

I always thought Ellen was 40yo, untill recently i found out shes 60 😂
They’ve had different lives. Ellen didn’t have the same chances or privileges during her youth. She had to struggle a lot against an abusive stepfather and her coming out too. Assuming homosexuality, living a life trying to overcome judgements, was not picnic either. Also, Ellen didn’t go trough plastic surgery.

It is so wonderful that American daytime tv includes more open conversations about life abd the realities of being a human being, the sadness, heartache. It is so healthy for people to be able to openly discuss these Things. It will lead to a less neurotic society.
I didn’t think I would live long and was right I was misdiagnosed at 29 and told I was fine and turned out I had cancer.. and at 32 was told I only have a couple years to live.. I just turned 35 and know I don’t have much time left. Wish I knew then what I know now.

Wow married to 3 alcoholics. It's amazing to hear her say I survived. Good for her. Look at her she looks much younger. I love to see people gracefully aging but staying active and busy.
I just read both hers and late brother Peter's memoirs, both had their first kid in their 3rd year of marriage. In addition, both have a son and daughter. Finally, they married their last spouse later in life.
Sometimes you have to wonder how their lives would have been different if their mom Frances had not committed suicide, or Henry had been more attentive and loving.
It is sad fate did not allow Peter to see 80 next year, but at least he lived to see his 70's. For various reasons, some of his peers didn't. He lost two dear friends, Bridget and Stony to suicide at very young ages. Jane was good friends with Sharon Tate.
I did not know Ted was an alcoholic. I read about Roger and Tom.
