I own the Eco-Zilla and IMHO it's the superior choice. One interesting feature of the Eco-Zilla is what while many dive watches have feature a totally useless helium escape valve, the ECO-Zilla is helium safe without a valve. Its sealed well enough to keep the helium out.
Not sure why you dont get more people watching these videos you do good job covering watches. Anyway you made me consider getting ecozilla very unusual watch not the same old cookie cutter type definitely something different from the crowd has it's own sense of personality.
Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. The eco zilla is a fun watch, but defiantly not something that I can wear every day. I got a good deal for mine used, so I am not really planning on selling it.
Owned both the Seiko (SBBN033 and SBBN007), and the Zilla, including many other Citizens and Seikos. After a couple of years I sold the EcoZilla. Too heavy to wear comfortably, and looks clownish to most other people. The Tuna is much higher quality to me, and wears better. *After more than 30 Seiko and Citizen divers, I still believe the BN-0150 is the BEST deal for a daily wear watch. I wear mine more than any other watches.
I agree, the eco-zilla is a beast of a watch. I like it because of that, but it is not really a good watch to wear for an extended period of time. I agree, the BN-0150 is a nice watch for sure.
I bought the Ecozilla two days ago and after measuring it in the store it was fine but at home I found it very big and I won't be able to wear it, so now I will have to sell it. Otherwise it's a great watch for wrists over 17,5 -18 cm.
Two great watches! I have the Ecozilla and a Baby Tuna. I'm getting older and I find dive watches easy to read with aging eyes. Also I don't dive much anymore but great watches for if you get caught out in the rain! ;-)
I picked up one with lug Adapters as well, have not worn it much on them though. Have you tried leaving your watch out in the sun for a few days? I thought my nighthawk had died, but it was just lacking a charge.
@@mmadchef808 No problem. Also, after leaving them in the sun for a few days pull the crown out and move the hands around a bit. I had to this with my Nighthawk as well. However I now just remembered that I had another citizen eco drive that did die on me. A week in the sun would not bring it back to life.
I believe that they came out at the same time, but the titanium version has since been discontinued. I would have to look it up, but I am pretty sure that is what happened.

That is a good point about the helium release valve. I would like the Omega seamaster a lot more if it did not have one.
The Tuna is also without a helium escape valve.
Couldnt choose, so I own both. The two gems of my collection.
Owning both is always a good option, LOL. Different brands, so they could both fit Ina collection.
Hahaha, this is my good long time friend from WUS. Choice is always overrated when it can “afford” to be lol😉
The Ecozilla is a Incredible diver.
I totally agree
Citizen it's the winner here
I like it way more then I thought I would.
I like that this one keeps showing up Kevin. Love the Tuna as you know and that’s why it’s now home to stay.
I am pretty sure this was my last video with it, and I am a little sad about that.

Never thought I would see a watch that made the Tuna look pretty and svelte haha
LOL, that is a good point. Th eco zilla makes everything look small by comparison.

It is a fun watch, but definitely not a good choice for daily wear. I hardly wear mine, and I might sell as well.

I totally agree with both of your points. Although I was never a diver, I still appreciate dive watches.
From above the Ecozilla looks awesome...but from the side it is just way too huge
I totally agree
I have a small wrist but I’ve been going down a rabbit hole with the ecozilla… scared to take the plunge
It is a fun watch, but I would not recommend it as your only watch.
The Tuna looks much better on your wrist and in my opinion it's a nicer watch.
I agree, although I do enjoy both watches, but for different reasons.
Nice video of 2 icons. Thanks!!!
Thank you for watching, I really enjoy both of these watches.
Zilla, but Tuna's are v. cool as well.
I like them both for different reasons. The Zilla is way too big to be practical for anything, but it is fun to wear on a hot summer day.
I have two of the Zillas, one with the lug adapters. Awesome watches but the solar cell is dead on both. Ugh
I picked up one with lug Adapters as well, have not worn it much on them though. Have you tried leaving your watch out in the sun for a few days? I thought my nighthawk had died, but it was just lacking a charge.
@@WrongTimeWatch Maybe I just didn’t leave them out long enough….will try again, worth a shot. Thanks !
I have it paired with a shark mesh and deleted the ink. Looks a little cleaner. Orange rubber looks great too!

I like the Seiko the best .
It is a little better suited for day to day wear for sure.
Hi I've a titanium version of the citizen eco drive. Is this a later version
I believe that they came out at the same time, but the titanium version has since been discontinued. I would have to look it up, but I am pretty sure that is what happened.
Ashtray bazel on zilla makes it think
I certainly is an unique feature
I think for me their is no winner its just a question of different taste. I like my seiko as mutch as i like my citizen promaster hehe
I agree. I am not trying to pick a winner with these videos, but to compare and contrast.
These two are great watches worse case scenario you can use them as weight when diving 😆
That is true, or a personal defense tool.
@@WrongTimeWatch or if you want to relieve the 90's and act like a power ranger 😆
How well will these fit for a 7 inch wrist?
The Tuna will be fine, the Eco-zilla will be a bit too big. My wrist is 6.5" for reference.
