I love the knuckles tv show trailer and I'm excited to see knuckles and wade in this six episode story plus ridge is just awesome.
Great they're doing more of the worst aspects of the first 2 movies, & including the crappy human characters :) OH and they AGAIN didn't use music from the games. An Idris Elba remix of Unknown by M.E. would've gone so hard for the trailer but they just can't be bothered, oh & now we have to deal with another cringe unfunny human character :) the ppl writing these movies only watched Sonic Boom & think that's Sonic. Had my hopes up for Sonic 3, but this confirms that it'll be just as bad.
I wouldn't be surprised if once Sonic 3 comes out on Blu Ray, they'll add this episodes and Call it Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Dude, the Sonic cinematic universe absolutely nailed Knuckles. He's a bit meatheaded and frequently comically oblivious to a lot of things, but he's also a complete badass. I love how they wrote Knuckles and Idris Elba is killing the voice acting

Yeah, when I recently watched my physical copy of that movie, I pretty much noticed that knuckles was very likely gliding then. Also it was hilarious that Sonic called Knuckles "Clifford the big red rage monster" when he was asking Tails about that echidna during the car chase scene! Lol.😂

8:28 - I believe it was confirmed that Christopher Lloyd is voicing him. Also the supposed destruction of the Echidna Tribe happened a little over 10 years ago in the movie universe, so that's already a very significant change. It means that Tikal could not only show up in the movies later on, but that she might not just be a spirit, but actually physically still be alive since the backstory for the Master Emerald is so different from the games.
OR
Tikal could just already be connected to the Master Emerald, and she might have helped the Owls hide it from the Echidna in the first place. This all hinges on whether or not we get more movies after Sonic 3 though, so we'll have to see. If more movies end up being confirmed, then things are going to get very interesting.

@@cjgamer6356 Chaos could definitely be a thing later on (if we get more movies), or it could even conceivably be the big bad at the end of Sonic 3. I'm not looking at any of the leaks, mind you. So I can only go off of what we've seen in the trailers so far. So if the leaks suggest something else, I won't know about it until we see the trailer (which probably won't drop until well after April).
But they did say early on that the storylines aren't being done in the same order they were done in the games or the other source material they're drawing from (the phrase, 'other source material' definitely has me intrigued, especially given all the small and also not-so-small references I've seen in the first two films to source material other than the games).
I doubt they'll show Knuckles Fighting Mecha Sonic, but i can dream.

He probably just didn't know Pachacamac was still alive. The guy _does_ appear to be in hiding.
8:41 the 3,000 years ago part was never a thing in the Sonic Movies. Pachacamac was actually seen in the first movie (with it being confirmed by Tyson Hesse) shooting the arrow at Longclaw. He should be canonically dead in the movies universe, so I'd probably say that his appearance is actually a vision. However, we don't know the context of that scene so take what you will I guess.
Also, the "bird people" are actually called scavengers and is actually explained in the pre-quill comics
7:49 Sorry to burst your bubble but Pachacamac is not a Japanese to English transliteration. It's the name of a Peruvian Archaeological site/temple and they named the character from that Quechuan word for that location. In fact, the Japanese word Pachakama IS the transliterated word here. The katakana is a dead giveaway. I really don't care btw. I just thought it was funny how sure he was despite the fact that it only took a couple of scrolls below where he sourced that name to find the information I did. However, the pronunciation between the Japanese and English transliterations of the word are actually similar. From what I am seeing the deity worshipped at the site is "Pacha Kamaq" (Earth-Maker). You would say it pretty much the same way
(PAH-CHA-KA- [MAC or MOCK]) I think its MAC. The Japanese one is like that but missing the Q-C sound at the end (PAH-CHA-KA-MAW). Question for anyone out there: Anybody know why the Japanese katakana spelling of the word didn't just add a "Ka-Ku" at the end to make it more similar to its original word?

I want to support the Knuckles series so I plan to pay the 6 dollars for ONE single month of Paramount+ just to binge watch the entire series. If you think about it, is cheaper than buying a movie ticket AND binge watching all 6 episodes is like watching a really long movie so I think is worth the 6 dollars.
As a person who is a competitive bowler and loves Sonic. I see that this show is going to be amazing. (Also to drop some bowling knowledge the bowling alley used I the show is the National Bowling Stadium which is known for the PBA; Profesional Bowling Association)

As a massive fan of the Sonic Cinematic Universe I absolutely loved this trailer so much! This is so hype and does feel a little bit like a mini version of the first movie. I just love the animation and I am so happy that Sonic will at least make a small appearance. As for the plot I think the first half will be in Green Hill with Knuckles training Wade how to be an Echidna and then the second half will be in Reno because perhaps Wade is in the bowling tournament.

My theory its that the echicnas in this universe where not kill by chaos but been teleport when chaos use the chaos esmeralds,that explains why after tikal wake up there were no body's all echidnas tribe desapear in Sonic adventure,and teleport to earth.
Another theory could've been that they killed Tikal and in a fight against the echidna, Tikal saves Chaos by sealing him within The Master Emerald. That would still give motive on why Chaos would still want revenge..

I have a theory that all the Mobian (non-earth) characters will be on Mobius by the end of Sonic 3. Minus the boring humans, plus a whole new world to explore, I think it's the perfect direction they can take the series if they plan to do more Sonic movies and possibly tv-shows. It opens the world up to so many new possibilities while removing the worst part of the universe!
I'm calling it, that scene with Wade getting dragged by the motorbiker will be the final scene of the show, before or after the credits, as a little joke to show he "hasn't become a warrior" like Knuckles wanted him to. The reason for the guy dragging him will probably be because they anger him in another episode.

Those events happened in the Sonic movie 2 comic tie in.
The Chaotix also appear in that comic, so I'd expect them to show up post-movie 3.
@@HellfireComms Likely in later movies. The post credits scene will likely be Shadow falling from the heavens and one of robotics drones finding him, with the camera then moves out into space beyond the space colony ARK.

And or Robotnik finishing Metal Sonic whom, if this really is Jim Carrey's final movie ,then procedes to copy his bio data and killing Robotnik, before transforming into Neo Metal Sonic.
Assuming his place as the series new main villain.

I wonder if they just wanted to give Tika Sumpter more screentime, which makes sense, considering that between both movies, Maddie hasn't had much interaction with Sonic.
I personally hope they don’t call them to the Black arms, since if shadow is popular enough in the movies, side movies or shows could be centered around shadows journey with the Black arms. I can accept them, but it’s just gonna make me confused at times.

Pachacamac hiding on Earth after being responsible for ruining the Echidnas, would make an interesting twist. Hopefully we get to see Tikal, who can explain things further and set Knuckles to become the Master Emerald guardian.

I see Chaos appearing in movie 4 with Cream also making her debut. I wouldn't be surprised if in the 4th movie Cream is looking for her father and mother from whom she got separated from. I know Sega hasn't introduced Cream's father, but I think the movie universe might since they did introduce an original owl character in the first movie.

Knuckles kinda performs something like a glide during the initial patrol car chase with Sonic and Tails during their first encounter.
I apologize, but I think you might be wrong about some things here;
1.) I believe we're actually only in green hills for one episode, that all those scenes are from the one episode, and Wade and Knuckles leave green hills at the end of that first episode. This corresponds with Sonic being in only one episode.
2.) I don't think the villain and his goons are G.U.N. I think they are criminals, the guys has robotnik's tech because he's a former robotnik lackey, who is probably Ex-Gun. G.U.N. . Commander Walters locked down and seized Robotnik's tech, and I don't think the military is after Sonic and his friends anymore. I also don't think the guy had anything to do with black arms, and the glove and guns are robotnik tech the villain took with him when he left G.U.N..
3.) The episode titles seem to indicate that he and wade a re traveling a bit,and we'll see different locales every episode. I'd bet all the bowling alley fight scenes are from the last episode, and the other episodestakes place elsewhere.
4.) Pachacamac and Tikal are from the present in the movieverse. One of the character designers from the first movie confirmed the leader of the echidnas who attacked Longclaw was him.

Well, probably is, under a different name. That's the name in the series leaks, in the episode name, and in the storyboard leaks, Knuckles' attack. They've been doing a thing where they re-use names from the games for other things, e.g. Green hills being the town name, Hill Top being a street name, etc. Doubt anything Sonic 06 related would actually be shown this early, maybe teased.
While I don't really agree with naming his attack after Iblis, it's our of our control.

in the movie canon Pachacamac is confirmed to have been the echidna who shoots longclaw in the first film. I still question how hes here? But it could be he wound up on Earth trying to find the master emerald himself but failed to do so and in the end retired on Earth to move on with his life.
Also the name Pachacamac is correct in how it is spelled as the name was inspired in the first place by a city in the Incan empire. SEGA of Japan used the name of the city for the character, especially as the name is further derived from the Incan's creator deity, called Pacha Kamaq, who's name ment Earth Mover. The obvious difference in spelling is more or less due to how the Japanese alphabet and their grammatical system works, as the names for all intents and purposes are identical both here in the US and Japan.

I'm not sure. Chaos could be the villain for movie 4 and could debut with Cream in the 4th movie.
not really a fan of using names from the games as just unrelated references (like Flames of Disaster and Black Arms), cuz it basically shuts the door on the possibility of those elements just not showing up in future entries. Black Arms in particular sounds like an odd choice cuz Shadow is very likely to get his own spin-off too.
But I'm gonna Believe in Jeff and wait to see.
