Judicial Drug Task Force & Arkansas State Police HIGH SPEED PURSUIT of Federal Fugitive - 113MPH PIT
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 14 мар 2024
- Trooper's Narrative:
On March 8th, 2024, at approximately 2:03 P.M., I, Trp. Dairren Evans #573, was stationary at the Bridgeport scales along
Interstate 40 West. I was then notified by a 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force Agent of an ongoing pursuit of a federal fugitive in
West Memphis headed towards the Interstate via Troop D communications radio. I then got on Interstate 40 and attempted to
intercept the pursuit. As I was catching up to the pursuit the DTF Agent was giving frequent updates as to the location and
driving of the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle had attempted to run an agent off the road and rammed another agent's
unit. The suspect vehicle struck an unoccupied vehicle in the process of fleeing inside the city and attempted to drive the wrong
way on Interstate 55 North before being forced to drive in the correct direction by officers who impeded his path.
At this time the pursuit continued on Interstate 55 North then onto Interstate 40 West where I was able to intercept near the 271
Mile-marker. When I became the primary vehicle in the pursuit the suspect vehicle showed no signs of stopping and due to the
reckless operation, it was determined the pursuit needed to be ended to protect innocent third parties on the roadway. I
performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention to stop the dangerous flight of the suspect. This caused the suspect vehicle to exit the
roadway to the right and collide with a ditch. Upon this collision, the suspect vehicle overturned several times thus ejecting two
occupants. Both occupants were conscious and responsive when checked by officers, however, an Ambulance was notified to
check them both.
The driver of the suspect vehicle was identified as Oscar Block of Arkansas. The passenger in the
vehicle was identified as Patricia Morgan of Mississippi. I briefly spoke to Mrs. Morgan about her involvement, and
she stated that the suspect would not stop after she pleaded with him the whole time and that it was her car that he was
operating.
Once paramedics arrived on the scene it was decided that both occupants needed further medical attention. Both occupants
were transported to the Regional One Health Hospital in Memphis, TN for treatment.
Warrants for Oscar Block will be filed through the Crittenden County Prosecuting Attorney for the following charges.
5-54-125(d)(3) 2023: FLEEING - FELONY - VEHICLE OR CONVEYANCE - SUBSTANTIAL DANGER OF DEATH
27-50-302(a)(7): SPEEDING - MORE THAN 15 MPH OVER LIMIT
27-50-308(b)(1)(B) 1ST: RECKLESS DRIVING - 1ST
27-37-702: NO SEATBELT
27-22-104: NO LIABILITY INSURANCE

Trooper Dairren Evan’s that was pretty legendary
who feel sorry 4 the 2 assholes !
( hint it aint me )
@@sonyaskogstad3849 Byrd-like.
130+ and sailing past the semi that was fading onto the shoulder? Wow.
@@pantarkan7 I was thinking the same thing , One wrong panic move by that trucker just moving to right to let him by and at those speeds that officer and car would looked like pop can put through garbage disposal... Wild and can happen in split second
Watching this video as a truck driver, I am so sick of all these other truck drivers hanging out in the left lane for no reason.
Although I am retired from truck driving, I agree with you. The only thing I miss is the money I made.
Not truck drivers, they're wheel holders and seat warmers imo
My son drove truck for 30 years and quit due to these “new” truck drivers not following the rules both on the road and while dropping a load.its sad, he loved his job.
don't want to sound too xenophobic, but a lot of these new drivers are foreign born-new to the US and just don't know any better. :(
That was what I was thinking the whole time!!!!! GD truckers in the left lane. No better here in Georgia!
"Im primary"
* 3 seconds later *
"Tvi, rollover..."
That was amazing. I worked in Fayetteville for two years with cops, did radio work.
They actually will chase and if htey know ASP can help, they just wait let ASP take over cause that is what ASP trains for
🤣🤣
For real dude went to work.
@@NihongoGuy They do a good job of getting them off the road, but I've seen some pretty gnarly videos of them PIT'ing and causing casualties and/or fatalities as a result. In a lot of states the state patrol or troopers can only PIT under a certain speed, usually ~40mph and have to be aware that no other civilians are around. I still like the net thing that gets deployed and can wrap around a vehicle's tires to stop it.
When the other cops are moving out of the way for one to take the lead you know you're screwed.
If I was a fugitive, I am certain Arkansas is the last state I would go to.
Yeah, I'd head to Wisconsin where being arrested just means a free meal and a same day signature bond...if they even bother pursuing me.
I'm Canadian 4500 miles away and I know that LOL! 10 years for putting dog at risk for her.
Anywhere in the south. They know how to punish offenders.
I always say the same when I watch these videos.
These criminals will never learn. If ur on the run, do not go into Arkansas unless u want to end up in the ditch.
But is the dog ok.... Don't care about the lowlifes.
Sadly no mention of the dog in police reports means they never went looking for it
13:48 hopefully the cops did actually go look for it :(
Sadly, it looked to be limping :-(
We need an update on the doggie. Only the doggie...
there are alot of people that take in stray animals , a friend of mine took in a beautiful Rottweiler that got away when some ghetto POS got arrested , he kept her and had her for the remainder of her life
Must be pretty cool to take 9 minutes to find the action and then three seconds after 'I'm primary' it's done. Nice.
The entire world was chasing that loser, and NONE of them had the balls to end it. ASP had to run all over the city to find them, and then POOF.. THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE BEECHES!
Arkansas doesn't let pursuits last for hours like in California. They rather stop the threat before innocent people get hurt.
It also shows the level of training that the State troopers go through to be able to perform the TVI, and either stop the bad guys or stop the pursuit if too dangerous, all of that without supervision getting in the way from an office. Great job trusting your troopers!
What I'm saying. Half the video was playing catch up.
Trooper Evans is Top Notch! He's as good as Jacob Byrd, just not as well known!❤
Dude just casually drives up to the chase at 140mph, assumes lead, and PITS the suspect with no change in vocal tone. Trooper Evans is a GOAT.
Do police always know where the runaway car is?? 😳
When I seen him hit 140.. I knew he meant business 😂
Trooper Evans is a danger to the community… complete disregard for human life. ASP is a pathetic organization
That was the smoothest PIT I have seen. Officer Evans is a pro. He also knows how to handle perps without burping them and changing their diapers.
@@CAhoneybadger let us know when you plan on being in a high speed pursuit or commiting a crime so we the public can be off your route (or set our own trap for your car to fall into) since you have a disdain for officers. Thanks for the laugh at your comment.
This was the smoothest 100+ mph pit I’ve ever seen. Great work officer Evans
Not only runs from the police, but didn't buckle-up. Brilliant.
Don't forget: she can barely breeff. Whining, so she can play the "victim".
We definitely don’t encourage them to buckle up lol
What sad is the poor dog
They usually aren't smart.
@@sailorgerard Shut up, she had a mangled arm, and was just a passenger. You weren't there.
I really love how professional the officer is after he ended the chase with a TVI. No yelling, no swearing and no threats. He is an outstanding example of how to be a professional police officer!
There are so many others out there who need to learn from him!thank you for your service Sir!!
10:15 my only concern was when I saw that dog and my heart dropped...
@Elmorulz681 Me too.... Is it awful of me/us that our concern is for that poor puppy and not the numbnuts who tried to outrun police...? I Don't Think So!!
@@jonevers8027No, I don’t care what happens to the irresponsible idiots fleeing police. My only concern is that dog. Why do these people endanger their children or pets?
Same here - I wonder what happened to the dog. He seemed to be running okay.
@@Debra.Justice We will NEVER know... Wait!! Booze, Drugs, Warrants from previous criminal activity, Diminished mental capacity, Current political beliefs and affiliations...Etc. It is and always will be so.
I just know that when the puppy is found he will HAVE to have a better life than he had with these🤡s
I was worried about him, too!
The ASP don't play! "I'm third vehicle." 14 seconds later: "Ok, I'm primary." 10 seconds after that: pitted. All without a trace of adrenaline or anxiety in his voice even after weaving through heavy traffic at high speeds just to get there. The dude could have been calling out a golf game on TV. Rock on!
ASP is basically only police in the state who can pit. Sheriff and city police can't damage their vehicles.
@@glenerickson358 i think it depends on the department and your rank cause we have seen some local cops do PITs
I'll bet you got hard typing all of that out.
@@hmbpnz what made you think that
It was automatic. ASP is like RoboCop when it comes to PITs... Just awesome.
I really like it when the MPH is displayed for us to see. 👍🏻
ASP is so well-respected, even the feds yield to let a trooper end a pursuit.
Pretty sure it's because they're some of the best at executing a PIT.
The Feds vehicles aren't equipped with PIT bars like most of the ASP cars are.
Not the local Sherriff's Dept, tho
@@GordoGrande69 I've seen multiple instances of local departments waiting for ASP to show up to perform the PIT for them as well. Do you know the dynamic there?
@@GTObsessor I'm going to guess it's most likely training, I'm sure they need a pit certified guy to do it. Feds and local probably don't do a ton of pursuit training.
That was... surgical... cruiser had zero lateral correction to make. Pure art.
Rolled to a stop has a different meaning in Arkansas !
Trooper Evans is very well-trained. Thank G-D for the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us from criminals. I can't fathom driving as these Troopers have to drive to catch up with criminals, nor risk my life to perform a PIT. Yet, these are the same men and women who cry at the site of an injured baby, just as the rest of us do.
Why would you self-censor God?
That PIT was so smooth, I didn’t even lean into it.
could have been J.Byrd...but then J.Byrd wouldn't have gone the "wrong" way initially.....
I’m not the only one who leans in? Brilliant! 😂
DOG WANTS A NEW FAMILY NOW AND BTW I DIDN’T LEAN IN I WAS PULLED IN😂😂
PIT coming through, PIT coming through, please get out of the way.
🤣🤣🤣
Pitmeister😉
That state trooper was driving that cruiser like he stole it!! Amazing job.. thank you for your service all of you please be safe out there
I love how they charged him for driving without a seatbelt after he was ejected.
Trooper Evans rendering excellent first aid. Kudos to him and his professionalism.
That was some superb driving by Trooper Evans.
All I care about is if the dog is ok…
Poor baby ran because she was scared to death. The lady kept saying the dog was her baby. Would you let a complete stranger behind the wheel with your baby on board? I hope she gets a new loving home.
13:48 hopefully the cops did actually go look for it :(
One of the smoothest pit maneuvers I have seen . Arrived , then immediately pitted without delay and maintained control of pursuit vehicle .
Looks like he was trained by the Byrd man! Nice pit!
Byrd is jealous. He doesn't get as many pit opportunities on days.
Byrd is the word!!❤
A huge shout-out to Trooper Byrd! Your legacy lives on❤
Excellent job, Trooper Evans (and a gentlemen to the car owner easing her pain and suffering with empathy and kindness) - exactly what heroes are made of!!!
Trooper Evan’s, that was about the smoothest TVI I’ve seen! Nice job! ASP Troopers are the best.
Arkansas!!! Your police rock!!!!!!!!! You need to give lessons to all the other states!!!
Can I just say how impressed I was by this trooper's attitude toward the woman who'd been in the car he was pursuing. He was kind and gentle and reassuring; he treated her as a human first and a suspect second. I loved to see and hear that.
Dairren Evans has that DAWG in him. GD. That was some driving.
I really hope the dog is ok and found. I saw it limping at the beginning of the video.
The police could not have been less concerned. You can hear them laughing about the dog being "gone" at 15:14. What do you think happens when a police K9 gets hurt on the job? Such a double standard these jerks have.
The police did not decide to go on the run with a dog. It is not their job to catch animals, that's what Animal Control is for.
Man that officer had amazing driving skills. Driving that fast in heavy traffic on the BERM of the highway and not slowing down must have taken balls of Steele not to hit that brake pedal.
.. not to mention lift-off oversteer - the wary drivers nemesis! - this officer showed himself to be a skilled pursuit driver for sure :)
God: Show me a perfect pit.
Trooper Evans: Say no more.
The driving skills of ALL the ASP troopers never cease to amaze me 🥊👍‼️
Patricia Morgan must think the cops are idiots. Her car and she doesn't know him but lets him drive. Too bad that rollover didn't correct her thinking process.
They must think the police are stupid.. The excuses some of these losers make are hilarious
In 27 years arresting criminals in America "s 6th largest I was only told the truth 2 times. No I'm not exaggerating
@@burtvhulberthyhbn7583 Glad you made it through. Thank you.
I'm thinking she would lie for him on her deathbed...
Pretty smooth Trooper Evans...well done sir.
Trooper Evans you sir are a beast. From another former member of the thin blue line kudos
And listen just like that you're done bro. Listen Arkansas State police got a reputation they don't play around..😂😂
Im amazed how calmly they talk while defensive driving a such a high rate of speed. Impressive!
I saw a video where they showed the face of a cop doing this. Whipping through residential streets at 70 mph, he looked like he was having a Sunday drive in the country. When he was actually trying to pit the guy, he looked like he was having the most fun of his life- like a kid with bumper cars. DEFINITELY built different from me! I hold my breath just watching it on RUclips!
I can drive and talk at the same time.
God bless the A.S.P , ❤ subscribed from Canada 🇨🇦 😊
Poor doggo but wow that was a smooth TVI 😮😮😮
I've watched a ton of these kind of clips and these Arkansas Troopers are the best there are at this stuff, hands down.
The only one I feel sorry for is the poor dog that got ejected or crawled out, it looked hurt and no doubt terrified. I hope he doesn't remain lost.
Great smooth and professional driving Trooper Evans!
I feel sorry for the pupper at 10:14. I hope he's ok.
pupper? definitely time to grow up
Even the FEDS respect Arkansas ability to end pursuits. What is puzzling to me is with a heap like that why were they even running..
Fed vehicles weren't equipped to PIT.
@@GordoGrande69 And neither are they trained as well.
it could be to do with "them" not being the "brightest" candle on the chandelier.....
Yeah it’s a Chevrolet Lumina. Those things are stupid slow. We had a 97 in the family and when it ran half the time it could barely get out of its own way
@@stratman9449 it could also be that feds are almost never chasing criminals around, as it's not usually their job to. If being a state trooper has around 1% of the job being pursuits, think about feds where they do a whole lot more paperwork & that they usually only get to pursue federal law breakers. That & rarely do fed unmarked cars (or most unmarked cars in general) have pushbars
Never fear, ASP is on the case! 🙌
That poor dog was limping. I hope it’s okay
I sure hope the dog is happy and healthy. Poor guy went for a ride. Somebody better figure it out. It's kind of horrible to leave us hanging on that info.
Did y’all find her dog?
Poor Dog.. So Sad that the dog gets left out alone..
That dog 🐕 took the fk off real fast. Didn't want anything to do with that chaos. Poor baby, i hope she's OK and knows she's a goodest girl!
11:29 I was the trucker in the first truck & 22 yrs on the road this gear jammer ain’t never seen nothing like this before brah
and now you have a story to tell at every truck stop
Trooper Evans... TVI or get out the way so I can!!
damn, he went quite a long way for a 10 second pit at 109mph!
Any news on the Dog seen walking away from the crash??
I feel bad for the dog that was ejected from that car and you see hobbling off a crossed the road. So sad.
Just another day of keeping Arkansas towing companies in business!
Smoothest PIT I have ever seen, even by ASP standards
What happened with the dog!? Please tell me 🥺
Nice driving trooper Evans brilliant pit even at 113mph I would need clean pair of pants
Tractor-trailers have no business in the left/fast lane unless passing someone! Get a clue, truckers!
Obviously the new breed of truckers, who don't give a damn. In the old days there was respect for traffic laws, even though four wheelers were not liked, they were also watched out for, because a semi can do a lot of damage.
Many are passing people. If trucks were not governed to a set speed, this problem would go away. It should be illegal to set a truck speed limit to anything lower than the highest speed limit in the country. Until that happens, these road battles where a truck takes miles to pass someone only driving a mile or two slower will continue.
When did it become legal to exceed the posted speed limit just because you want to pass?
Blame speed limiters all set at different speeds. Not the truckers just trying to get down the highway.
@@PlanetaryThoughts9861 how else would you pass somone
Did they find the dog? Not concerned with the trash evading!
DUH !! I never saw the trooper coming.
You know you're screwed when the units that are chasing you move out of the way to let another unit get in front.
Was that dog limping off the highway in the suspects car?
Yes..
I wonder. He just about had to come out of the car.
The passenger was telling the Trooper the dog was hers and was asking about it.
And at 15:14 the police say"the dog's gone" and laugh. I bet they'd feel different if it was onev of their K9 units. Sickening.
Man, you JUST DON'T MESS WITH THE ASTP. They don't play because they mean BUSINESS. That TVI was an absolute beauty. Way to go all of you men and women who do such a GREAT JOB of protecting the roads of Arkansas. God bless you all, stay safe and much love from Virginia.
I sure hope the pup pup is ok!!! ❤
I swear Arkansas needs to start a nationwide trooper PIT maneuver training center! 😂 Made contact for that PIT at 113mph, and the follow through, perfection!!! 👏👏👏 Beautiful driving Trooper Evans!
I doubt a single officer in my state (WI) could do one that clean even at 25 mph 🤦♀️
That’s because up here (WI) we actually value human life and are educated enough to know what “smart” policing is. Terminate the pursuit (safest for EVERYONE) rack up the charges, arrest them at a later date that is not a high risk. These clowns care more about their pride than the lives of others!
Watch code blue cam to see true professional policing
@@CAhoneybadger But when they're driving a stolen car & there's nothing to prove that a specific individual is driving & fleeing in said stolen car, the charges don't stick!!! The Kia Boys started right here in WI & they're not going anywhere because they have nothing to fear between the lack of police pursuits & slap on the wrist charges on the rare occasions they're caught! WI isn't educated & sophisticated, we're pussies! And I'm saying that as a Democrat! Lol
Thank you officer Evans!
9:43 Running from ASP in a Chevy Lumina made it way too easy for them to finish that chase
I feel really bad for the dog that went running off.
Where's the dog that was in the pitted vehicle ?????
Trooper Evans is quite skilled at driving and that is really impressive
what a heart stopper! I hope the dog is okay
@9:40 FuK'n Flawless PIT..
Wow! ASP excellent driving through traffic of semis. Must be a lot of practice on simulated track. And that PIT, it’s like here’s how it gets done after thousands of doing it.
ASP Evans "I'm primary" 9:32 , ASP Evans "rollover" 9:45 . Feds and Deputies follow for how long? ASP Evans 13 seconds.
Is the dog OK?????
The no seat belt ticket cracks me up
Nice PIT but I was also inpressed by the Troopers ability to navigate through heavy traffic, was seldom slowed by being in the wrong lane.
looks like he been watchin the Birdman, swooped in fast. Good job.
The professionalism… To go from "got to stop this guy" to "got to help these passengers" in a second flat… I don't know who's training these boys but they need to be training more troopers across the country.
ASP - soooo smooth. Excellent job ASP
❤ASP❤...the best-trained, most effective PD I've seen on RUclips!
When the sea of local and county cars behind you start parting and you see that blue chevron coming up behind you, your time running is about done.
Knew when Trooper Evans finally got the lead, that was their ass 😅. Honestly the Southern States Troopers and Officers are some of the politiess when your caught, but when they're in pursuit they mean business 😊. ALL the States from Texas, MS, LA, FL, GA, AR, are like Beagles on a Rabbit 🐇.
MUCH RESPECT FOR THE OFFICERS BOTH HUMAN AND K9 🐕🦺 WHO RISK THEIR LIVES EVERY DAY TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC AND THEIR COMMUNITIES ❤️🤍💙.
STAY SAFE SO YOU CAN GO HOME AT THE END OF YOUR SHIFT TO YOUR FAMILIES 🙏🥰.
That has to be one of the smoothest pits I’ve seen
Great work officers!
Thanks for keeping our world safe get them all police
so slick, comes up, sides up, sends'em off, smooth as silk.
Flowing through traffic at 138 to catch up, "I have a sheriff in the way" , "Reporting third in line" he goes by the whole stack of pursuit like nothing and the car was actually drifting down from speed too. Calling primary as he is going in for a pit at triple digits too. That was a seal clubbing.
“I’m primary, aaaaand, pursuit over”.
Evans has a sticker that says Drive it Like You Stole it
😳😄😆😂🤣😂🤣
Indeed😂
These pursuit officers must know the freeways, city streets and back roads like it’s all memorized. Especially at night!! Assistance is no.1 !😊
6 seconds from "I'm primary" to "TVI, TVI". Impressive
That Chevy Lumina had about 20 cops from different agencies after it. There’s no way that fugitive was getting away even if he got into another state because some of the cops were federal agents who will chase well into other states.
Bringing up Trooper Evans ..the A-Team
I will love to see a Nascar race like, Arkansas state police edition. 😂 they just built different. 😂😂😂
Man that charger flies :)
