Didn’t recognize anything until you stopped at the light at Alameda and Ironton. I on Ironton for several years (as well as several other places in Aurora). I remember a sign that read Gateway to the Rockies. I’m sure that’s been replaced with Gateway to the Colorado State Penitentiary.
I think you are confusing Aurora, Illinois with Aurora, Colorado. This video is the Aurora that I live in which is a suburb of Denver. I have been to Aurora, Illinois in 2013 on a trip I took with my wife to Chicago.

I used to live on the street that the video starts at. Not the worst neighborhood, but we had a drive by once.
