The entire area shown is being completely surrounded by gentrification. If he'd simply gone in the reverse direction in the opening shot, he'd have been in the midst of a trendy upscale "million dollar Levittown" that was built on the grounds of the old Stapleton airport. I live only a few blocks from there and I'm wondering how long before I'm driven out of the area due to rising property taxes. Yes, there are dicey areas shown in the video, but I'm not sure I won't miss them when they're gone.

AH! Colorado's most notorious shithole, aside from Commerce City. Just the northern older half of town. Southeast Aurora is really nice, upper-middle-class living.
But yes, that northern half of A-town gives Denver a run for its money as far as property crime, theft, violent crime and homicides. Homelessness is an ever-growing problem in Aurora as well.

That's the thing with Aurora. A huge part of it is mostly nice, quiet suburbs, but the sections of it that are bad, are really bad. The statistics are misleading because of this. Colfax and Beeler is active af. It still looks the same as it did in 2004/2005. I had homies right there on Xenia by the AutoZone, and that little area was nuts in 2005.
