We live in the Lowry area of Aurora and it is by far one of the most dangerous areas I’ve ever lived in. We have had numerous incidents of people shooting shotguns and pistols near our home. One bullet hit our neighbor’s house. We had to add extra latches to our doors for extra security. If you go to downtown Denver and the surrounding areas, you see open drug use, people passed out on the sidewalks. The tent cities are out of control. The housing market is so expensive. Dangerous and under insured drivers. People get robbed at gunpoint. It’s out of control and has made me into an anxious person. We’ve had suspicious people come to our door on more than one occasion. I could keep going. If you’re looking to move to this area, try Littleton, Arvada, Parker, Castle Rock. I’m so sad because this really is a beautiful state, but it’s being ruined by drugs and crime and outrageous home prices.
Agree! I moved to Tucson az 2 years ago for work & its fine but now im looking to relocate to denver, and i think Aurora would work for me as a single Male, dont care about school districts for me.
I think there’s a lot to like about central Aurora, and I’ve got a property myself in Aurora Hills. Aurora will always have a high level of demand for location alone, and while some neighborhoods are less desirable than others (which goes for any town, IMO), I think some of the neighborhoods you mentioned have a lot of momentum building.
Aurora experiences all four seasons, so we get hot summers, snowy winters and everything in between. Overall it is a mild climate, most dry and pleasant - and lots of sunshine.
I would say by April things start to warm up more consistently and trees are blooming so you get the best first impression of the city, and into the summer it doesn't get nearly as hot as what you are used to, so I think you'll have plenty of options! Thank you so much for watching!
This is soooo good. Very thoroughly done!! My family and I moved to Golden from Nashville in July and are craving far more diversity. We think we may be the only non-white people in our neighborhood 😂 My daughters and I are sourcing locations via vlogs and this video plus YOU are definitely getting passed on to hubby/daddy.
There is a lot changing in Aurora and it still has its problem areas, as all major metros do. There is no denying that Denver and the metro area has some significant issues related to the homeless that need to be addressed.
Thank you for watching, be sure to subscribe so that you don't miss new videos coming out every week!!

What is your personal thought on long term ROI in Central Aurora? (Aurora Hills, Expo Park, Village East, Utah Park)
Are these popular neighborhoods?

Not a bad area to call home, definitely a lot of neighborhoods to like!!
Hello! What's the weather there all year around?
Aurora experiences all four seasons, so we get hot summers, snowy winters and everything in between. Overall it is a mild climate, most dry and pleasant - and lots of sunshine.

Aurora everytime I go back to visit seems like they have more homeless tents.
