Denver seems like the best place in Colorado to live in with coffee shops, good restaurants, bars, and breweries within walking distance of lots of houses there.
There have been a handful of days below 0 degrees since I moved here in 2021. But cold is very subjective. I'm from Georgia and I think it is pretty cold often.
Denver has its days - and as Amber mentioned, I think it depends on what you think cold is - but overall I think Denver’s winters are pretty mild aside from the occasional handful of snow filled days or short periods of 3 or 4 random days in the winter when it drops to single digits.
Yes but not often I'm a native and during the months of January and February we get single digits and sometimes even blow zero, November and December is mild usually around the teens and 20s. And than lastly sometimes we get cold fronts that will drop us in the single digits for a week or more

You're selling me on Denver based on the entrepreneurship, business perks and startup scene. Thank YOU for covering that. The migrant issue is kinda concerning to me, but I'm sure one could avoid dealing with it if you're focused on scaling your startup and regularly traveling? And do you think that there is more of a startup hub in Boulder vs. Denver? Thank you for this video. Also, proximity to Aspen, Boulder and Vail is a HUGE sell.
The thing about Denver is that it’s getting a bad reputation in some ways probably because it used to be better than it is. Maybe the people aren’t used to having certain problems in their city. I used to live in Austin which was a shit hole in many ways in 2019-2021, but ALL you heard about Austin was that it was this great city. I was on the ground in Austin like, “yeah it’s nice in a lot of ways, but it’s really scummy”. My point is, certain places get a lot of flack because it’s popular to do so, and others just get glowing reviews because that’s the consensus from people that don’t know what they’re talking about. Big cities are going to have problems with homelessness and drugs etc. that’s life
Once upon a time I lived in Denver.We bought a new home in Aurora just $175,000 . Unfortunately we sold it in 2004 . We didn’t get any profit, and moved to CA. Here also we can’t afford a house. Now I wanted to move back to CO. Now howz the single small family house? Can we afford it now??
Actually, Denver has a pretty great climate with 4 seasons. Since it's dry and not in the super humid eastern half of the U.S., snow isn't wet and heavy like back east. It also melts quickly due to the nearly constant sunshine...over 300 sunny days a year. Colorado winters aren't as long and cold as other northern and midwestern states and spring comes early, in March, compared to them. You can even get uncommonly warm days out of nowhere during the winter.
Well that's good to watch, i'm not from USA but i've plans to visit and live one day, but i've seen many comments saying how bad is Denver, that is now a 'shithol*' etc.. 😓 but i always like to see both sides 😊

@ The traffic and drivers are insane. You are very far away from mountains and pretty stuff. Really hot summers. Amazing winters. Feels like fall and sunny everyday. I do find Denver a little boring, but hey in 5-7 years, if I get a house now…even in Aurora, the value is gonna go up. And I’d be “Closer” to the core than those outside e470 that’s still being built. And flight prices and flying times are pretty reasonable from our Airport, so… heeeeeey!🎉
Aka- No, it is not a wage you can live on here. A single bedroom apartment in the slums of Denver runs $2500/month now. Food prices are ridiculous, property crimes are one of the highest in the nation- I'm 5th generation born here and am getting the f out of this sh!th0le.
Why encourage people to move to Denver? I've been here a few years for work reasons and can't wait to leave. Too much traffic, too expensive, not safe, not pedestrian friendly, air quality alerts almost every day, etc.
No one wants to live in denver, be honest. Who likes sitting in a 3 hour rush hour every morning and afternoon? People want to live in Boulder but no one can afford that unless you are making 200k+ a year
