    Always love your videos. I’m also very interested in the things you do that are not painting - you lead the kind of creative life I believe is an example to us all - and I’m probably old enough to be your grandmother.

    Another lovely video and the northern lights timelapse is awe inspiring! Everything: courtyard, cat and kitten, husband, lambs, scenery ... you ... all was wonderful to see.
    I'm watching 5/18/2024 early morning in Northwest Montana U.S. and it snowed yesterday (squalls) ... maybe today also as we started at 3C ... this after almost a week of 20's (C ... I am on a 1 person crusade to abolish F and Imperial measurement) ... fun to see your courtyard and plantings take off!
    100% behind the slowing down mindset. I semi-retired last year (self employed software developer) and although chose to remain a 1 person work from home operation and have always made time for sitting on the front porch, walking & playing with pets ... it is another step slower. My days are full but they are not "busy" (mostly).
    About your Plein Air group from your IG post ... I think you said it is a monthly outing? Is it all painting or is there "planned" coffee/meal? I haven't found a group in my area so want to see if I can get one going and am not sure how to structure it. I know that I can put an add/inquiry on Facebook and see if there is interest and then group decisions ... but wondered how your group works.
    Off to get my breakfast and then watch the art studio video - thanks for all you share!

    Thank you for showing me the beauty in your world. I think we all have something beautiful in our worlds, but we don’t always see them or find someone to share them with. I missed the Aurora down south in Australia, unfortunately I was too ill to go outside. So thank you for sharing with me the wonder you saw.

    Good day, Sarah! You are a wonderful storyteller. I so enjoy your videos. When I was young cameras were film cameras and difficult and expensive. I wish I had had digital cameras and iPhones to record us building our octagon house, taking care of our farm and horses. I had really beautiful horses: Arabians, Thoroughbreds, Anglo-Arabs and even one Dutch Warmblood. All I have are some snapshots to remember them. My Husband passed away almost 6 years ago and now there is no one left to share the memories with. Treasure your videos because when you are old like me, they will be so valuable to you. Thank you for sharing Scotland with us and your life. Many blessings to you and Wolfie.

    Thank you for the images of the Aurora - I now live in the southern US, but spent the first half of my life in the northern states. I've seen a lot of Auroras, but this one reminded me of one I saw in Michigan in the mid 1970s. The ENTIRE sky was filled with color raining and waving down from the zenith. You're right - it's something you never forget.

    Something I remember my mom doing when I was a kid to keep the slugs away from the snow peas she would plant was to buy scrap tires to use as planters, and she would paint some sort of adhesive or another (I don't remember what exactly, as that was 35+ years ago) around the exterior and then coat them in rock salt. That did wonders to keep the slugs from eating the snow peas. Didn't do a damn thing to keep me from eating them, though. 😂

    Hello ☺. Three names for the purple flower at the start. Aqueliga, Grannies Bonnets and Columbine. They self seed, so when seed heads appear just scatter them about. Also, have you thought that the pollen is affecting Floki and it's not a cold! Bless him 🐾 The bird song at the end is a blackbird, the high pitched screech some kind of seagull ...

    We used to have a pollen problem on our cars here but our neighbor chopped down a massive pine type tree in his back garden when the neighbor on the other side built a 2nd house in the back of his yard. It was too close to their boundary between them. The tree was on a lean into their yard and the roots were growing into their neighbors yard. Once the tree was gone, so was all the pollen. The pollen had a yellowish tinge to it.
    The aurora here was very pink overhead.

    • @sarahinscotland
      @sarahinscotland  5 месяцев назад

      Yea I definitely think it’s one of the nearby trees. Actually the other day I rode through the forest and there was a thick yellowish haze, and I’m suspicious it was pollen!!

I’ve ordered on Amazon immune builder supplements for cats that really works. I have 21 cats so know what you are experiencing. I don’t use just antibiotics, colloidal silver and other natural supplements to keep their immune strong. Anyhow just wanted to share the cat stuff too. What a gorgeous video!!! Thank you so much for your talent and for sharing it with us all. We also had the aurora here and it was magnificent. My daughter called me and said to get outside because it had started and she said that they were looking at green mist and all of a sudden the sky exploded in red yellow purple green, she said it was just the most amazing experience and was so grateful that she got to see it. So much of the same here that you photographed and recorded here in your video so I’m sure being a little bit more north in latitude. yours was a bit more intense. Your garden is fabulous. You’ve done a fabulous job. I’m thinking about getting a mulcher for all of my debris to put back in my raised garden beds for mulch. The season for growing and painting. Happy spring to all of you!
