Great review man thanks a lot, 4 years and its amazing how few reviews of this game are out there, even less guides for some incredibly useful mechanics that the game doesn't explain like farming items from your own blood and to cauterize wounds. I'm somwhat grateful for that because I love this game and remaining in the obscurity is the only way it can achieve that genuine mystery like before the internet.

Wish you would be a little more passionate about how you talk about the games though. Kinda like your reading a report sometimes. Still great reviews with all the info.

Great idea, fantastic looks/sound and very poor design choice when it comes to dropping your lantern that literally punishes players for explorations. Also, the controls - A for running and interaction makes you interact with dead enemies when you want to run away. Just odd choice.
@@Luisgvn Very tough game, I just beat it few hrs ago. I did not watch any reviews or tutorials beforehand just because I did not want to ruin the whole concept. Downloaded it back on the 14th dropped many hrs. Overall great game, very rogue with a twist of zelda, amazing sound track as well.
@@Luisgvn I compare the ending to opening Pandora's Box. Whatever was Below came forth with the help of our little explore he/she was the key. Exploration has its rewards but also its horrors
Some of the gameplay is where I lost my lantern, as I mentioned, made it incredibly hard to see. Generally though yeah the game is pretty dark though I think RUclips compression makes it worse too.
I honestly don't know if I like or dislike this game.

I think you nailed it, interesting ideas and great presentation but poor execution at some parts.

I got to the end and solved the puzzle at the center of the island getting an ending so I assume so unless there are multiple endings.

The game is so dark...as in hard to see.
