I would say. Goodbye rolex. The 2254.50 is one of the best

Same here ,the 2254 is unique much better looking comfortable slim and beautiful, functional , better value than the Rolex which is small fat out of proportion and a rip off there are millions of copies and clones too I have not seen a 2254 copy or clone..its getting sought after now.

The 2254 is by far my fav Omega....if I ever get another watch might be a Speedmaster but will always keep this 2254...love the solid sword hands and the more comfortable bracelet.

The Omega 2254 is unique, attractive slim and comfortable, well proportioned a good size, very functional due to the large hands and batons, and good value whereas the Rolex is fat small and very expensive ,a rip off plus there are millions of clones and copies ,I havent seen a clone or copy of the 2254.

Omega for the win. I've had my Seamaster 2254 for 21 years. It's never even serviced and to this day it runs at plus one second per day. Because it's relatively thin, it lies pretty flat on my wrist. The only negative is that, like most Omega bracelets , there's no micro adjustments on the clasp. That said , however, my bracelet, after all these years, still fits my wrist perfectly. You're dead on about the lume. It's insane and, even as its brightness disappates, it's still very visible all night. I still prefer this model to the skeleton hand models.

Keep the 2254 ... Ditch the sub.... Get Rolex GMT 1675. You don't need a sub and GMT

I watched a similar video over 14yrs ago and sold the Omega 2254 over a Rolex 14060m, due to poor YT advice.I always regretted it and now today have another 2254 which gets wrist time. The Rolex is sat at the back of the safe gathering dust and $$

Own the same Omega but in blue. As you said, fantastic time keeper. Once adjusted properly it is always spot on. Never going to get rid of mine but definitely in the market for a 16610. I think, overall, the Rolex styling (Submariner and Seadweller) is a bit more timeless.

I prefer omega over rolex. Besides the brand image and heritage, rolex doesnt beat omega in case design, movement advancements, aesthetics, and value for price.

I have had both. The 14060 was superb in every way wi ch I still had it. The 2254 is a tad bigger, wears thin but is certainly more brutish to look at next to the sub. I didn't care for th speedy style bracelet, prefer the old jangly R bracelet. Big plus for 2254 was service is cheap. Tough choice each to their own but if I had to pick again I'd be going with the sub. I don't baby my watches I wear them everywhere tennis, running, skiing, diving, felling trees or digging up my farm. Both are great and tough. My ultimate decider was that sub design on the 5 digits is just perfect,

watch v watch the Omega is SO much better as a diver than the Rolex.... legability, size, sword hands..... if the Rolex had had the same specs but was a homage you'd pick the Omega no? Only the Rolex branding/history/prestige is making you choose the Rolex imho! Tell me I'm wrong?!!!

Marshall Time yessir. Too many ppl who own omega will bash Rolex without ever owning one for comparison. After 20 years of owning both, the new omega movements have given me too many issues. My 3135 and 3130 movements have been rock solid.

Disagree on the blanket Rolex > Omega statement, but each to their own. I sold my 16710 for a Seamaster and pocketed the change. Bracelets are infinitely better on the older Omegas though.
