Tq for this video. my mum complained about leg pain. we visited a doctor and did MRI. The findings are:
- Normal vertebral marrow signal.
- Spondylolisthesis L4-L5 grade 1.
- Mild reduction in L3-L4 at L4-L5 disc height.
- Multilevel desiccated lumbar discs are seen.
-Normal conus, no intraspinal tumor.
i am surprised the doctor did not suggest exercises. some medication good for nerves were prescribed. most literature i read suggest exercises and your video instruction is simple and clear even though i don't understand your language. i will teach my mum to do work out as shared by you first and start the medication after awhile. i believe exercises help in mild condition. TQ

Hi, my mom did the exercises for a while but she couldn't say if it helps when I asked if she gets better. Apparently she did not do the exercises consistently. At about the same time she visited a doctor for another problem. It was an internal hemorrhoid and the doctor suggested her to have it removed by surgery. According to my mom, the procedure was fast and painless. It was like 30 mins or so and she could go home and do normal work. The interesting thing is that her leg pain disappeared right after the hemorrhoid removal. The pain didn't come back till now. This I can't explain. Not sure if the hemorrhoid has anything to do with the leg pain. If one can ....

I have a question. I get some pain in my leg for some time after doing the exercises. I don't get any pain while doing the exercises itself. Is that normal?

How long does it take typically for the L5 S1 Disc Herniation to heal, with these exercises? In my case, I don't have lower back pain but pain in my left leg. It makes it painful for me to stand or walk continuously even for 15 minutes.

Diffuse disc bulge, broad based central - bilateral paracentral and bilateral foraminal disc herniation with minimal superior and inferior migration at 15-S1 IV disc level causing severe narrowing of central canal and mild to moderate narrowing of bilateral neural foramina with marked compression over traversing nerve roots at central/bilateral paracentral location and indentation over bilateral exiting nerve roots at foraminal location.

Good..well explained , My MRI report has disc Bulge.
I had a sacralised l5 and abutment of l5 & l4 nerves. These exercises helped me in rebuilding my spine.
Here are some of my secrets. I have epilepsy which causes me to lose vitamin D (epilepsy meds do that to me). This makes my body lose muscle and bone mass. It was ok until it was muscle mass but as soon as it came to bones I realised I was done for. So I did some research and got my body a complete test. Found out Vitamin D was insufficient. Doctors suggested supplements which I took and took a glass of milk on top of it daily. Now this was not enough until I did these exercises which had a catch. You also have to make sure you activate your targeted muscles too while doing these exercises. Like the first exercise which is called bridging you need to activate your inner thighs and hips while lifting or else it would be for nothing. Focus should be on activation of the targeted muscles or else your bones won't get the calcium it deserves. Muscles have blood vessels which carry important minerals to the bone. Activate muscles or you will regret it.
What do you mean by targeted muscles ? Can you please explain . I have l4-5 l5-s1 disc bulge . And doing exercises regularly but the pain is not going .. it's been a year now

My MRI report -
Diffuse annular bulge of L4-L5 disc indenting over thecal sac.
➤ Posterocentral- right paracentral extrusion of desiccated L5-S1 disc is compressing over thecal sac and right traversing nerve root.
Doctors are suggesting me for operation kindly help me whether i have to go for operation or by exercuse or medication it will help me.. please reply sir😔

I suggest you avoid any exercise involving back extension (arching back). Some of the exercises he advises here will definitely aggravate your condition.

This is my report "MRI OF THE LUMBOSACRAL SPINE
Clinical Profile: H/o tightness and numbness of right thigh.
MRI of the lumbosacral spine was performed on 1.5 T essenza machine.
Scan Protocol- Axial SE T1/FSE T2, Sagittal SE T1/FSE T2, STIR Coronal.
Normal lordosis of lumbar spine is seen with no scoliosis.
There is biconcave shape of L4 and L5 vertebrae.
Intervertebral disc height and hydration are well maintained at all levels.
Diffuse bulges of L4-L5 and L5-S1 intervertebral discs are seen, indicated thecal sac, causing mild
bilateral neural foraminal compromise.
Disc contours are well maintained at rest of the intervertebral discs levels.
The pre and paravertebral soft tissues appear normal.
The visualised lower conus and cord appears normal.
Both sacroiliac joints did not reveal any abnormal signals.
