Every CCR song is a great song!
Now that is a fact worth mentioning.
One of the few bands where this is really true and most people would say the same
Scribe, you'll like their - "Born On The Bayou" "Suzi Q" "Down On The Corner" Their 11 minute cover of "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" is quite the jam.
I was watching "storytellers" on vh1. Fogarty said " yeah every time I play it I think of Tina Turner"
This song is very personal to me. Was one of my late father’s favorites from perhaps his favorite band. Grew up on CCR. This band did not write a bad song. Tina Turner’s version is great but nothing beats the original! Keep playing the classics 👍
Yeah, CCR did it first and wrote it, or CCR’s John Fogerty wrote it.
God bless U. This is the very first album I ever owned.
These guys are one of the great Bands of the 1970s. Lots of great songs. Born on the Bayou, and Suzy-Q, too many to name.
Have you done their version "I heard it through the grapevine?" Its over 10 mins long and is incredible!
I went through her library today, I don't think she did because I would have listened to it. She has like almost a year of videos though, so I might've just missed it.
One of the iconic songs in R&R history, CCR and John Forgerty are American originals.
I'm proud of you you actually know that ccr is the original artist that preformed this song most believe it was Tina turner
Love me some CCR
2021 still amazing...
Yeah, creedence made many iconic classics
If you liked Rolling, check out their version of Heard it through the grapevine... Awesome!
I was around when that song came out (yes, I am that old). I loved your reaction. Keep it up.
Brown Mary keep on burnin'🤗✌❤🍻😎
Always said you had soul. Don't give up your dream, looking forward to your future girl.
Ike and tina turner did a cover of this, very amazing.
Ike and Tina Turner covered this. They made it their own classic, too.
Not only did CCR write Proud Mary in 1969 when they recorded it it hit #2 on the Billboard Top 100. In 1971 when Tina Turner recorded it hit #4 on the Billboard Top 100. Tina Turner did a great job with this song but in every way it is CCR's song both because they wrote it and because it was even more popular coming from them then it was coming from Tina Turner. Again this is meant as nothing against Tina Turner who was great but the most credit for this song definitely belongs to CCR.
Yeah!!!!! CCR ALLDAY EVERYDAY🎸🎤🎼💕
Hey Scribe... Since we started hanging out together in March... You have gotten really good at this! FREEBIRD! (couldn't help myself)
Might as well do "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" by them as well. Will be another familiar song.
BRUCE Springsteen said when he and his band were working their way up the ladder that they played this bar in Jersey where people of all backgrounds would come and drink. He said nights got rowdy they would play Proud Mary and everyone grooved to it, it was song everyone could enjoy.
Big wheel keep on toining, proud Mary keep on boining.
Been listening to ccr since I was four!
Heard it thru the grapevine.. is a must hear...
You should also check out Tina Turners version of this song
CCR would've been as big as the Beatles had they been together for more than 4 short years. They're a little like Jesus and his ministry: Around for a couple of years, made a worldwide impact, went away, left a bountiful treasure for those of us who are attentive. Good reaction, $C!.
John Fogerty CCR doesn't disappoint! I suggest checking out Fortunate Son, Up around the Bend and I put a Spell on You. John had solo hits in the 80s. Centerfield, Old man Down the Road. Did a great cover I believe of Jambalaya by Hank Williams. CCR was always my favorite band ever. Keep up the good work. 🌞
You have a good voice...
Easy one to learn how play, simple cord changes, good strumming tech.
Give a listen to this one---
People dont usally see how music bridges gaps between races. This song was number 1 before Tina Turner did it . But when Tina did it ? She brought it back to number 1 again . THE power of this song . Had black and whites dancing to the same beat . People say whitney made I will always love you go international..? But in reality she was another great artist. That got people of all races harmonizing together.
You need to react to Tina Turner’s version of Pro8d Mary! ❤️
"I Put a Spell on You"
Definitely is the best version I ever heard. Big CCR fan. You the man for suggesting this. Ahahaha 😀
You go, girl! Signed - An old Vietnam Era white guy who's from Wyoming and doesn't give a damned about what "race" you are assigned.
So many great CCR songs, check out Green River.
I loved the reaction because you talked about artists' integrity here. Using someones material in a direct way and calling it your own only shows your talents at using someones material and calling it your own. I would still like to hear a reaction to HARD BLUES SHOT by THE LAURA COX BAND ruclips.net/video/MJo1r7d5xQk/видео.html
Proud Mary Tina Turner Live 1993
You look so good.
🔥🤘😎👍🔥 #ScribeSquad
There are no bad CCR songs keep digging in this well
"Proud Mary" should be America's National Anthem. And I'll FIGHT the first person who says otherwise! 😂
You’ll also like Lodi
I like this better than Tinas version though that is fire but no one can out sing Fogerty, no one. I would suggest more CCR songs but no need to name them, anyone you pick will be fire.
Please listen to Everything You Need by Slightly Stoopid
Grapevine is better than when Marvin or Gladys Knight recorded it. The long version
Midnight Special if you havent done it by them.
You got the Tina Turner moves down pat!
I loved your reaction. You really got into it and genuinely locked in with the groove. Awesome.
First I'd like to say I've never heard your songs. But your pictures you post are so beautiful. You got a naomi Campbell vibe . You should pursue modeling. Not being stalkerish..! I'm gay , lol
Why aren't YOU in a band girl...! Whooo...!
You should be sangin for a livin'
Essa mol3cada de hj em dia acha que o mundo começou em 2011….
Did not Ike and Tina do this first??
Nope this version is the original and came out in 1969 where the Ike and Tina cover come out in 1971.
Susie Q that's the that's the colon bug that's the colon bed Susie Q that's Chris CCR Suzie Q
I know I'm tired of lyrics or still pics. Reactors are missing the point. They should put up the band performing. How hard is that?Yes we enjoy watching young people enjoying music but they've turned it into a business through kour sheer generosity. Stupid memberships. And telling us how it's going to be. I'm almost done if they don't go back to the basic reason why we're waiting them instead of the video we put up with 2 .3. Interruptions because of RUclips. Don't tell us how the cow are the cabbage.
They have to interrupt or the video will be pulled for copyright reasons. She literally has no choice.
Sorry but it's rolling on the river. You would hate to see your weed going down the river
i know you tried ... but you can't do it as good as they did
Is it me or are reactors all using still pics, instead of the bands playing their songs. How boring, I'd like to see them perform and reactors are not sincere or they'd want to watch them perform
@Nature and Physics Royall Albert Hall, Oakland Colisseum, Sidney, Woodstock
This was the song that put them at the top.
You realize that they are confederate a ?
