@@agustinechevarria8048 Hamilton’s pole lap was more than 3 seconds faster than Ricciardo’s 2016 lap. There’s no question about the 2019 Mercedes being the faster car overall and it is the simple reason to why he had to lift since he carries more speed than Daniel did.
It’s like comparing a normal car having to slow down for a turn while a bike doesn’t.

@@agustinechevarria8048 So if a car is both slower in terms of speed but at the same time has a downforce advantage benefitting the grip around corners, why did he have to slow down? And still be 3 seconds faster? Power doesn’t have to mean top speed. It’s the amount of rpm it produces which shows on acceleration. Hamilton had hit a drastically higher speed than Daniel before Swimming Pool causing Hamilton to break. But yeah buddy, sure… you know everything 🥰

F1 just can’t decide between shoulder cam or t cam
they decide well, Mercedes gets all the shoulder cams and the rest don't x) I'd like to see how Merc's suspension interacts with the track for once, but with this angle it's impossible
Xavier CHARLES Hamilton always gets shoulder cam, just because he hasn’t had many poles this year we haven’t seen it that much. That’s why I prefer when Bottas gets pole as the camera is nicer.

@@collinsmilgo8869 imo the shoulder cam probably isn't that bad, I think they use it cause it gives kinda a vintage look like in the 80s or 90s, or for the impression of speed, but I'd say it gives less visibility over the track and what controls the driver use during the lap

I mean, the 2019 season results have been pretty predictable for Mercedes. As Will said, Mercedes are in a league of their own. Vettel in 3rd is considered the best of the rest

Was a scruffy last sector. Both Hamilton & Bottas had much time in their hands capable of doing sub 1:10. Hamilton just tied together a better lap.

? It looks slow because it is. Monaco is the slowest track on the schedule, with the slowest corner. If you want speed, watch Monza.
You mean the camera is a bit to high.
I agree, the driver is also a bit lower and can therefore see less of the track.
Seeing a bit further makes it feel slower.
The W10 looks to be an epic package. Lewis just as all of the fast drivers keeps the car in attack mode at all times with that special combo of shifting and breaking that sounds so powerful and lives at the edge of danger. Super lap.

not a mistake, a correction of momentary oversteer, instantaneous track temp, tire temp throw uncertainty into the mix. Its impossible to drive on the limit and not flirt with this.

It's a very slow (and 'always very equally narrow no matter what line you drive there') part anyway inner that corner, so proably might not matter as much in time if correting a bit at entry while still equally fast in km/h through it. As long as the exit is still ok after the apex. It seems and looks he preferred a very fast entry / approaching and late braking there (maybe he would not be on pole otherwise now), so maybe it was 'calculated' in by him to happen.

this is the superior camera angle for keen drivers in the audience because the offset and low angle provides a much better sense of yaw moments for an observer not connected to the controls
