Loved the video!!! We’ve been going down to Los Barriles since 1980:) It’s our annual family vacation once a year. My wife and I want to someday retire down there. Thanks again for sharing.
Cool!! And thanks for correcting my pronunciation. I should have known that with double L’s. 🙂 We appreciate you joining us on the Journey and hope you have an amazing week!! 😎
Hola! You guys need to go check cabo pulmo! My wife and I went snorkeling there, such an awesome place! Still very rural and not a lot of amenities but that’s what makes it unique. Keep up the good work the videos!
Ooooh....I want one of those red beach buggies. Looks like a great beach! Did you put Jenny in a wave? Oh my! I see a local cow likes to visit the beach too.
We spent 5 days in Los Barriles two weeks ago. Stayed at the Rancho Buena Vista Hotel at K106. A nostalgic haunt for lots of sportsmen & sportswomen back in the 60's & 70's. Fishing & hunting for Cordoniz y Paloma holas blancas. Fished two days and had lots of luck on Dorado. The town of Los Barriles is a Gringo Haven during the winter & Spring for Kite Boarding & driving around on noisy A.T. V. 's. Lots of restaurants close during the summer and most that stay open charge Gringo prices. Average of $ 16.00 USD without Margaritas ($10 - $14 USD) each or a Pacifico Beer $ 5 - $6 USD. Our boat & owner Mauricio was fantastic and charged a very reasonable price per day for great fishing. If you want to stay in town, El Pezcadero Hotel & Sport fishing with great bar and restaurant is the place. Patti, the owner is a very gracious host. Not on the beach, but most beaches in town aren't swimable anyway. If you don't care about speaking Spanish or don't want to change dollars for pesos, you'll love Los Barriles.
It is just south of La Paz and north of La Riviera on the Gulf of California. It is beautiful!! Thank you for watching and joining us on the Journey! Hope you have a Merry Christmas! 😎

We've spent winters here. Live the town and their GREAT farmers markets! And it's Lōs Bar-ē-yes...

@GeneandRenee we shall. 40 miles from the border now and getting ready to head south for the winter. Mazatlan this year...
@iii9266 have fun!! 🤩
It’s not a double L. So it’s not “yes”….it should be “les”
@@johnlee4973 you are kind of correct. It is double R's, not double L's but pronounced Lōs Bar-ē-yes
My Grandfather was born in Los Barriles, nice!
That is too cool! It’s a beautiful area for sure. Hope you’re enjoying your week! 😎
