Todos Santos is such a cute and pretty town and I didn't know about the artists! Just too hot for me which stinks because the sunsets look phenomenal. Thanks for the tour!
Cost of living prices in this video (in USD) rentals $800-$1,700 a month utilities $50-$147 a month Internet $27-$59 a month We estimate that a couple can live comfortably on $2,000-$2500 USD a month. Depending on the exchange rates, your lifestyle, your medical history, and your housing costs.
I enjoy all of your videos. Your content is informative and resourceful. Todos Santos is a wonderful, yet expensive expat community. I enjoy visiting. However, the estimates in this video don't align with today's COLA.
my current favorite place in BCS is El Pescadero....of course TS is the best close place for shopping although Cerritos now has a good sized grocery store. Thanks for the video.
I figured this would be the case 20 years ago...too many Americans retiring in all the nice spots in Mexico and driving up prices. I am about to retire...and all the spots I check out are expat influenced economies...With my home paid off its hard to justify moving anywhere but the most remote places in Mexico...as far as finances go
Many people with a great financial plan back home still move to Mexico. they find their costs are still lower and their money can go a lot further for longer. And not in the rural areas of Mexico
yes please id like to know that as well...we should be researching towns with the water shortages,,I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for locals if expats are having a hand in this,,dont know that I want to be part of that scene but Id love to go.
Water shortages are certainly a concern that should be followed. I recommend visiting the local city's government X accounts or Facebook pages to see what they say about water conservation. In the meantime, it's important for you to manage your own water supply by having a cistern/ tinaco depending where in Mexico you live.
@@ivonnear10 yep. to say nothing about multi-million-dollar development of residential and commercial habitation, with nowhere to put "used" water but the ocean while facilities to deal with it haven't been built yet. One species of bird cannot use the bay for their seasonal visit to mate, as a result of the chemicals in their bay.

Mosquitos depend…if you have a home with many plants that require lots of water, but if that’s not the case..really they are in,y present during raining season in the summer (august and sept). Humidity the same as mosquitoes and humidity thrive under similar conditions.
Water shortage. And Hot and Humid wak! High 80’s all week Jajaja I’m warm alright. Lo lol yes lots of gringos. I grew up here. Housing is expensive! Cheapest place I’ve seen is in town for a little over 200k condo like place. Food is expensive but if you want to drive an hour Costco is in Cabo and Sam’s and City club is in La Paz. If you don’t like dirt don’t move here. Pacific Ocean is 5 minutes from me. Turtle rescue near me. I love it. But we are in Mexico. Not gringolandia.❤❤Very few long term rentals, unless you have mucho pinche dinero. I live in El rio with Mexican neighbors. I don’t like noise, Mexicans like to party… keep that in mind. My CFE this month was 430 pesos for 2 months. I don’t have AC.
I’ve heard from a couple locals that while beautiful, there’s a relatively significant organized crime presence in TS, have you heard of this? I’m saying organized crime, but I’m sure you know what I’m really saying.
I'm certain it exists everywhere in Mexico, not only in Todos Santos. And yet, I still think Todos Santos is perfectly safe. Not all criminal groups across Mexico go into full on shooting wars.
I’m not talking about shootouts, and this is the only place in Mexico where I’ve been informed by locals. I was just asking if you had heard anything about it.
@@brianjanusek4356if there’s no shootouts what’s the concern? Organized crime is eeeeeverywhere, reality check. Not all places are dangerous tho. Todos santos is not dangerous
🎉❤Ty, its important to know both sides, I'm American, and Mexicans aren't exactly kind or welcoming! Learning it as I read through the comments section in various videos. We should keep our money and make our own country prosperous ❤🎉

Telmex goes off during the summer all the time. Nice video. ❤❤❤
Fishing is outstanding as well.
Very Expensive, but Love Todos Santos!
Can you comment on the water shortage in Mexico City?

Todos Santos is for sale to the highest bidders, and they are usually not multi-generation barrio-dwelling Mexican families.
There are thousands of hidden gems in Mexico.😀
Yes please can you comment on the water shortages here in Mexico.

They call it San Diego South. For a reason.
It wasn’t u til COVID hit and all the us came to move here….just saying
No comparison 😅 no pavement here.
Northern BCS is a hidden gem if you want something a bit more authentic.
Thank you for the video. Do you know what's the average how price in TS?
Would my family’s iPhones work in Mexico?? Or would I have to talk to AT&T about that?
att should work in Mexico
What are the monthly averages for mosquitoes and humidity please, want to choose the best time to visit?
That info is best found with a quick google search :) There are entire websites dedicated to weather averages

We are driving from Nogales to Topolobampo then taking ferry to La Paz do we need a TIP for our car?
Do you know if they have any casas de ancianos?
If they do, they would be found through google or Facebook. Do a quick search on Google :)
Cerritos is not in Todos Santos. You can't swim at the beach in Todos Santos.
This is the most expensive place in all Mexico. And to many gringos.

There is no more water. Big problem.
Way too expensive. This is a tourist attraction. Go to southern Mexico and see the real Mexico .
This is also the real Mexico. But it is true we are swamped with gringos
l am thinking of moving from TS to a more affordable area. What are some of your favorite areas?
@@ivonnear10 I guess if an area is full of gringos, like 20% 30% or even more, can no longer be called Real of Mexico😢
The average price for a home is 1.2 million us. To much for me.
Better have lots of money
Homes are more than the United States.
Depends where in the us. And I do have to say immigrants have made it more expensive since COVID. Buying homes and then renting them….
