    Wow! I was just at Cerritos a couple of days ago and what a difference between September and December. You wouldn't recognize the beach as it is full of vendors, surf schools and tourists.

    I love Todos Santos, favorite city in all of Mexico! Whale watching is incredible, saw a Momma whale teaching her child how to breach!

      The whale watching here is truly unbeatable. I love sitting on the beach and watching them breach from shore!

      Well, I didn’t know there was hype but I do know that foods ridiculously expensive here. I’ve lived here since I don’t know 2013. I grew up in La Paz. I don’t even leave my house hardly ever , it’s nice but I wouldn’t say it’s anything particularly special, but then I grew up here. Personally like Puerto Mejia a lot better but you don’t know where that is. But then I don’t have any money either so that really cramps ones style but it’s OK. I’m busy building my house all my own at age 73. I’m making it out of patch and adobe behind los Pinos super Mercado in El Otro Lado come and visit help me slap some mud on the walls, lol

      Yeah, it’s dusty all right ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha OK I’ll shut up and keep watching

    One more, and then I’ll shut up. I can hear the waves from my bedroom every night and I’m five minute drive from the beach. You know where the Pinos is well I’m like two blocks behind Pinos supermarket and across the street from Pinos is the road to the turtle camp. and you know something I have not been to the beach in three years. I’m happy just listening to it.

Best place on the beach w. food and umbrella drinks all day is El Faro Beach Club & Spa and dont forget to release fresh hatched turtles late in the evening at Grupo Tortuguero Todos Santos. ps: you have to get your self some stickers decals made and plaster them places you go ..... ifffff you looked you can find mine everywhere in baja ! okay i didnt put one on the KM0 ( kilometer zero ) sign in Cabo ...its by the park , west and south of the marina !

    Laura I love your videos and this one is no exception. I am really hoping to get back to San Jose Del Cabo next year for our 50th anniversary. I am anxiously awaiting your book on Los cabos. If you would be amicable once I obtain your book I would love to work with you in putting our trip together. Thank you so much. Ron

    Since you did not go into specific costs…. One would guess it’s cost prohibitive to stay there. I have also seen on other videos that it’s gentrified to the point where there are no Longterm rentals at all. Airbnb only at enormous $$$$ prices…It would have been appropriate to mention these points in this update. People are mostly fleeing US & Canada because of cost of living issues. So once again this place is for wealthy people only and excludes about 75% of us.
    Not ur fault but it would be fairer to mention.

    I used to surf there 15 years ago we would camp and chill. todos. is now a booming real estate market. with million dollar homes. and rentals in the 2 3 an 4 thousand a month or more zone its absolutely beautiful but believe me. it has changed. it seems. to be the case all over the world really. all the beautiful places are discovered and all are becoming major tourist meccas with big dollar signs guess we all just have to deal with that

      I'm sure a ton has changed in 15 years, but it hasn't changed much since I was there in 2021. Since I've known TS, it's always been this higher market spot. But like anywhere in Mexico, speak Spanish and look where the Mexicans look and you'll find better deals.

    Which beach are you showing at the beginning in Todos where you see whales? I think the biggest changes since you were last there have been at Cerritos Beach, where I live...so much building. But it's still a wonderful place. :)

    • @laura-bronner

      I usually head here by turning down the road across from Pacific Fish Market. There's beach access there, but there are a ton of access points along that way.

    Only been through todos santos when taking the bus from San Jose del Cabo to La Paz and back and didn’t see what the hype was about. From the bus the town doesn’t look very nice.

      The beaches here are pretty spectacular. I prefer them to the beaches in Los Cabos, but otherwise I'd rather be in San Jose.

    • @laura-bronner
      @laura-bronner  3 месяца назад +1

      Not in 3 years. Even when I was there in 2021, it wasn't cheap. Baja isn't the place to go in Mexico if you are looking for somewhere "cheap," whatever that means to you.

    • @oceanwave4142
      @oceanwave4142 2 месяца назад

      More expensive basically but do you get more value? (Peace and quiet is worth something for example). It might not be that expensive or it might I don’t know.

      I don't love how reliant on a car you have to be here. You pretty much can't get around without one which makes it not an ideal vacation destination in my personal opinion.
