I agree, the Glock is a great weapon that really doesn't need a lot of upgrades. An optic and maybe the grip work, but everything else is a waste of money for me. Even the gun light can handicap you , if you don't know how and when to use it.

love the vid but gotta say, i dont think the RMR is the leader anymore, considering it lacks shake awake, solar power, the ability to change battery without removing, very blue tinted glass, different reticle options, not to mention i can get 2 holosuns for the price of one RMR.
I have 4 holosuns 3 use solar they all have shake awake and are fantastic.!

I’ve shot a lot of different triggers over the years and I have found that 1911 triggers are some of the best. Luckily someone who is a Glock customized listened. The Johnny Glocks triggers are the absolute best triggers fro Glocks i have found and shot. They feel just like 1911 triggers in a Glock.

@@thenoobreturnz8968 although you can get them in different pull weights, I love 1911 triggers because of the their extremely shot take up and reset. They have a very crisp break as well.

I haven't tried all triggers but I definitely stopped searching once I picked up an Apex flat faced trigger. Sits comfortable at just over 3lbs on one and 4lb on another that I have. I never liked the idea of messing with the frame itself.
The factory sights on my 34 are awesome. Ive never held another pistol that had as good of a sight picture
By factory, do you mean the black with white outline? I find those crude. Glock has an upgraded set of sights they put on some of their guns, which are definitely better.

3:23 No disrespect my man, but striker fire pistols like glocks are not double action. They don't cock the gun as you pull the trigger, it's already cocked when you rack the slide meaning you just release the striker with the trigger pull. That's one action.
Not quite. Pre-cocked most of the way. The trigger pull finishes the clocking and then releases the striker. The reason the Walther PDP and the Canik triggers feel so much better is that they are fully cocked striker fired pistol. That trigger pull simply releases the striker.

Actually he is right all striker fired pistols are single action. They just make certain ones complete the firing pocess to give the trigger a heavier pull as to make sure you want to fire. It is a gimmick for the owner and the goverment
And canik made a true striker double action pistol that not many peole bought as having to decock it is a pain in the butt.
A true double action will always be hammer fired as you not only have a heavy trigger pull the hammer has to travel farther on that pull before releasing and tricking the pin to fire. That is and will always be a true double action. So you striker kids can just calm down.

I use Tungsten rods in any pistol I can. 1911 to Glock, it really helps follow ups and doubles. So does a comp, proper grip and proper spring.

I grabbed a Dagger SW4 RMR GatorMouth Cut Complete Upper for my G19X Lower. (Didn't want to ruin my stock upper)
Already had an OW Precision TAC Trigger, Master Trigger Spring Kit, 3lb Black Yikes connector, etc.
With my stock upper I still get a funky 6lb pull.
With the Dagger Upper on? 2.7-3lb pull, I can get 4lbs by swapping out the connector for when I carry but she's a beast now 🤟
I’ll never understand why people mess with a stock Glock trigger for self defense. The new Gen 5 triggers are smooth as butter. Most you should do is get a ghost connector. Otherwise changing triggers is for completion or range guns only. Why do you think police aren’t allowed to change their trigger…
Police aren't allowed to change your trigger because their controlled by politicians have no idea about firearms lmfao New York used to make them have 12 lb trigger pulls until they start shooting so many civilians because they couldn't keep it on target and I got news flash for ya we were allowed to have the armory alter it how every we wanted
I agree! As long as it is no more then 5#, it will work just fine. Better ways to spend money, like sights, better ammo, or a tac light.
My old agency allowed us to put the lighter triggers in our Glocks. The 3.5# trigger is beautiful. noticeable improvement in accuracy and follow up speed.
I could buy five more pistols for the cost of these upgrades. Next.....🙄🙄🙄

I love Glock factory sights. That U shaped rear sight is the best rear sight design I've ever seen.
@@nerdwitdank I don't know why people hate them so much. I've carried a Glock with the factory plastic sights for more than 10 years and the sights are still dead on, they're not damaged. I wish someone made a metal version of them with the entire U on the rear sight being tritium.

When done right with quality parts. Lots of folks out there get parts from unknown sources. As far as the internals on mine they are all stock. A lot of the mods are just consmetic as well

I have glocks because I’m poor but the dr920 is the flattest shooting pistol I’ve ever shot. I IMMEDIATELY became a better, faster shooter with it in my hands. It was amazing the improvement fr.

No.. they are definitely NOT "top performers out of the box" I have been shooting for a long time and I recently bought one. The stock trigger is completely garbage. This will cause your shots to be less accurate. Also you can't acess the stock magazine release without shifting your grip even if you have large hands. The slide release is also hard to access. This stuff can be fixed with a little time and money but it would be nice if they came this way. It would also be nice if they included some kind of slide safety but that is the least important of the issue.
The only real improving upgrade would be a steel frame.
Why so they could be 3 lbs and only shot 7 rounds like a shitty 1911?

@Higher lifts 420 For those among us who are not limp wristed and weak, a 3 lb gun is no big deal. If one can hit the target with the first shot or two, why have a huge magazine. You'll probably never see an all out war where you'll need lots and lots of ammo. But, if that's what you need, go for it.

@bba7418 Your analogy is flawed. I buy shoes that look good, yes. But I don't buy a 300 dollar pair of Jordan's, then start to add aftermarket items to them. I don't buy a new sole a new tongue new laces etc. The Jordan's are perfect the way they are, you don't need to buy extra stuff to make them look good or function. Yet, you do need to do that for a Glock. It's not "hating" by stating the facts.
It's really obvious that you don't actually know anybody that owns a Glock. No civilian is getting into engagements with a handgun at 100 yards, and nobody who's a good shooter needs to change the Glock aside from maybe some night sights (but I would put those on most of my handguns), and anyone who sinks $1,500 into upgrades for a gun is a weenie. Teddy Roosevelt would look down on you for worrying about what other people decide to do with money you don't have.
