    I really appreciate how you don't shy away from promoting meat. Nowadays it seems like everyone promoting "healthy" eating has to speak against meat, seemingly just because it's popular instead of understanding the importance of the nutrition in meat that we need.

    I'd love to see a version of this video, which talks about things you can make at home to fill that protein/fat void. I realize this video is quite valuable to a lot of people who won't or can't add more work to their already crazy day. For people like me though, who want to avoid all the unnecessary packaging (especially the difficult-to-recycle pouches), I'd much rather make several servings of something at home. For instance, I've made the "cheese crisps" at home for years, and it's literally 5 minutes of work. And I'm sure a whole lot cheaper than buying them.
    Actually that is another thing that would be valuable: a video on making your own batches of snack stuff, and comparing the money spent making it, vs how much it would cost to buy it already made. Another example of that is the egg bites. Just a few moments of work to make them at home, and they would be *MUCH* cheaper. With inflation and cost of living the way it is right now, the majority of us are looking to save anywhere we can.

    Hi Autumn, I have a question about MCT Oil and Omega-3 supplements. I've been doing research on different types of supplements before starting to change my diet, and am a bit confused when it comes to these two supplements. I read that omega-3 actually helps to lower triglyceride levels... but I see Omega-3 + MCT oil as a combined supplement that is offered from various brands. If omega-3 lowers triglyceride levels, why would someone specifically take it with MCT (medium chain triglyceride) oil? I apologize that the question is a little off-topic from this video, but was hoping you could provide some insight. Thank you!

    Hi Autumn, I know you focus on getting enough protein but how much fat should we be eating per day? Thanks

    • @AutumnBates
      @AutumnBates  Год назад +1

      Fat is more of a "satiety filler". So the amount one person needs will be much different than another. Even from day to day, your needs might change. For example, during the one week before a period starts, women's hunger tends to go up. This usually necessitates eating an additional 1 serving of fat at each meal to compensate. Or if you're exercising harder on certain days, this will also dictate your needs on that day. I don't have a video that specifically dives into this topic, but I do discuss this in my programs.

    It's a shame that these are all animal products. There are healthy fats/protein that can come from plant sources, and even some options that are less processed and/or carcinogenic.

    Beef sticks? Cheese whisps? Aged cheese? Pork rinds? Hard boiled eggs? Dairy?😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😂OMG. People who call themselves nutritionists. Thank God every day I stopped listening to people who know nothing.

      If all of this sounds odd, you might want to start looking into current research on dairy, meat and eggs. I have a video on dairy specifically that you can find here: ruclips.net/video/OXRaL1IRRDc/видео.html
