- Guysss! It's been SUCH a hectic few weeks here at CoconuTacha! From visiting London to doing a market in the Capital City the next morning, to postal strikes, delays and new equipment! It's been stressful but exciting, as always. Join me as I pack orders, venture out to sell my stock in PERSON and create new things.

Hey, I have been following your journey for a while now and it has been super interesting. Some advice I would give you (fund permiting) is to run a kanban style system for your most important consumables. For example always have a spare ink on the shelf ready to go for the printer once it runs out. As soon as the one from the shelf goes into the printer you should order a replacement to sit on the shelf.

Yes yes yes! My mum and partner always go on at me for never ordering enough materials and replenishing often. It's a level of organisation I'm constantly striving for! Currently keeping on top of things this :D We will see how long I last, haha! xxx

i think for display the belly bands are cuter but once they buy maybe a biodegradable glassine or paper bag would be more practical for carrying around to other stalls or back to the car for protection! Great work and hope everything goes well! ❤

Watching while painting and glance up to see Symonds Yat on the screen, I live in Ross and so happy to find a crafty RUclipsr so close(everyone else seems to be in Canada, OZ or up north) Off to do far open trail tomorrow and was just entering the Art in penallt, near Monmouth show in my diary for an end of Aug day out before I settle in to exhibit in H'Art in September.
So going to keep an eye out for you.

I totally died with all the ink the first few year too but now I have a canon g3000 and just buy bottles to fill and they last forever!! I love it and no plastic worries. You can totally see th ink levels.

You could try adding more RAM to your mac. It sounds like it doesn't have enough memory (not disc space) available to run those big apps.
Ooh is this possible with iMacs? I got 16gb RAM, I thought this would be enough T_T xxx

in case you havn't looked at them, look at the cache (sp?) files! as soon as i deleted mine i got 20GB back. Don't forget the programs as well

@@CoconuTacha if you go into finder. the top bar. 2nd to last option is named something along the lines as go (mine is dutch haha) select go to. In the bar enter
~/Library/caches
it then opens the cashes. Anything that hasn't been used very recently can just be thrown out. All adobe programs have their own caches. especially premiere will have many
I just had to upgrade my printer and I got the newest A3 Epson eco tank ET-8550, I’m really impressed with the quality of print. Loved this vlog tacha!! ❤
People love their eco tanks! I've been looking at them. Maybe it's one to get when my Canon kicks in or I've gone bankrupt due to ink hahah! xxx
I have that printer as well it’s the best thing I bought for printing my greetings cards and it’s hardly used any ink…and I’ve printed hundreds of cards since I bought it and not put any ink in yet

Another lovely Video! Thank you. I am thinking now, that maybe that is my issue with foiling, as I use generic drums in my Oki laser. I'm also thinking that maybe I need a seperate mono laser for foiling as my Oki is colour.
Great idea! I also find that mono lasers have higher quality black toner than colour lasers!
I have different laptop, but on mine, when savings mode is on, the brightness goes down, but you can change it in settings, try this 👌🏻

I love your cards! Would you be able to share what card you use for your cards especially the greeny one as it looks like such a lovely soft velvet style card. I was delighted to be able to get one of your planners in tkmaxx in Ireland 😊
Honesly I'm not sure why but the green looks the BEST in that card collection when printed! It certainly does almost look velvety!? I think it must be to do with the ink? Lol! I just use silk finished card for these :D but the green is just lush, haha! xxx Ooh I'm so happy you got to pick one up! Thank you! xxx

What printers do you prefer I notice you now have a cannon for printing photos etc where before had an Epson XP 960, I’m looking to get a good photo printer but unsure on if to go with an Epson XP or a cannon Pixma any advice? Thanks ps love your channel ❤
I’m having problems with my Mac too- just wondering if you use Dropbox for file management at all? My issues seem to be related to an update Dropbox did recently 😅
Ahhh I don't use DropBox I'm afraid! I'm still not sure if t's down to Affinity or my old Wacom pen OR if it could be iCloud related... lol! xxx

For your Imac problems, mine was crashing and it was the power supply dying. made it just randomly turn off i ordered a replacement on amazon and replaced it myself.
Oh goodness!! How did you know it was the power supply? Is there a way to check this? I hope it solved your problems by replacing it! xxx

This is so lovely to watch, may I ask where you get your cards made? They’re lovely with the color coordinated envelopes! I currently make my own and it’s a bit of pain and have plain ivory envelopes, but I love the little sticker you have on them. Your papers are so nice as well! I love the texture.
I also ran out of ink this week. It should be here tomorrow, but I was testing some new art prints for Halloween!! It stinks too because I can’t buy the ink in stores I have a canon too, but it’s a cheaper model.

@@CoconuTacha oh wow! They’re professionally done!! I use a canon pixma ix6820 for my stuff, it’s not as big as yours and doesn’t use the fancy ink tanks, but it’s still demanding with ink… I have another smaller canon pixma that has a scanner I got from Facebook marketplace for super cheap that I use for receipts and shipping labels.
I figured you made them after you showed the planners. Any suggestions for envelopes? Like I have some but they’re just a thick ivory color, not matching like that and I quite like how yours are color coordinated!

Love the video, have a look at the Epson ecotank the ink comes in bottles and is much more cheaper than the cartridges. I love mine :)
Dont you have the pizza roll problem using Epson? I have one of the Epson ecotank printers L3210 but I'm in tears about the pizza roll issue on my darker color prints.

@@CoconuTacha i wanted to ask the same, i don have problems with it, the only downsize is it doesn`t take the 300gsm paper, but mine is an older model (ET-2710), when i bought it i didn`t need it for that, but otherwise is perfect for my needs, as you know i make hair accessories for women, and the paper that i use is 120-180gsm and the colours are beautiful :)

Do you have any advice on manufacturers? - I'm trying to find a good one for creating dogs products. I can only find Chinese ones, which I thought was fine until I saw how they treat their animals in the manufacturing businesses and it's makes me sad, so would you know any good ones? - What do you use?
Hi lovely! I'm afraid I wouldn't know where to start when it comes to manufacturing dogs products, but I believe most manufacturers are in China xxx
