Don’t take the sticky off the acrylic before using the laser. It’s called masking and helps prevent burn marks. Take it off the items after you’ve cut them. Also, if you score anything you can paint over it with the masking on to fill in the scored lines without painting on the acrylic itself. This is great if you make a key ring with words on it etc.
