- The apostle Paul wrote to the churches in Galatia that God sent His Son to rescue us, so that we’d no longer be slaves to this world but sons and daughters of the King-so that we’d be heirs of His everlasting kingdom (Gal. 4:4-7).
Jesus came to earth as a human being to identify with our struggles and to redeem us from sin through His sacrifice on the cross. Jesus did that for us so that we could spend an eternity with Him in heaven. In this sermon, Dr. Stanley uses Scripture to answer common questions about Jesus.

I have lived my entire blessed born life in sin. I was raised in sin. I have lived in sin. Sin was a natural way of life to me. I smoked my first cigarette when I was about 5 year's old. I had a beer in my hand before I could even walk with a motorcycle helmet on my head I could have sit in. I have grown up watching my momma get the hell beat, kicked out of her and cut even once. I never had a child hood. I watched my papa ( who I thought was my daddy) die and slow miserable death of cancer which shattered my life more. I later on discovered drugs, booze, women to deaden all that. Then I got married that I allowed to be torn to shreds by falling back to drugs that I lied to my wife about to protect her and my only son. After that happy marriage was torn apart I gave up living and fell deeper into the pits of darkness of hell into more sins. To go through all that and wrecks I should be dead from and other innocent people involved in those wrecks as well but by Grace no-one died. The multiple time's I blacked out from to much meth and alcohol poisoning GOD allowed me to live through. From 97 pound to my current weight of 165 and the best health I've ever been in is another miracle of GOD. There was thousands of pills consumed at times 10 at a time ex: xanax, clotapin, thorzine etc... A120 count I would eat in a matter of days and ALL by Grace I am still alive today. I was one of the few chosen by GOD to receive repentance I live in today devotedly and humbly grateful to be living. Mid Aug of 2017 I was fixing to push a rig/ needle of meth in this temple's vein of its arm and the power of GOD stopped me 3 times from trying. The conviction was so strong tears was falling and I rebelled against the will of GODS conviction and had someone who wasn't under conviction shoot me up. Sept 15,2017 I received more correction and judgement by the loving grace and mercy of GOD and every since Sept 15, 2017 I still am carrying the cross I am today. Today I'm so strong willed to do GODS WILL I feel unstoppable. GOD is my reason to live.I have to live for Our FATHER. I can't have one foot in the World and one foot in the Kingdom. Thank you Jesus.
I have a personal relationship with Jesus now. I was raised thinking i was a christian my whole life but it wasnt until recently that I found out i was not obeying Gods commandments and also that I did not repent. Thank God i am now obeying his commandments and am repenting of my sins. I am not perfect and I will sin until the day I die that is our punishment for our disobedience to God. Please if you need help with your health, life, finances or anything that is good God can help you. Jesus can help you. The Holy Spirit can help you.

I used to watch Charles Stanley when I was in jail and he had a big part in leading me to get saved. If you compare him to guys like Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, Jesse Duplantis and all the prosperity preachers, you can see the drastic contrast.

I've got this problem with smoking weed and in the process of giving it up , I have been smoking weed for more then 15 years , I've been on other drugs before very strong drugs and by the grace of God He helped me stop all the others. But now it's weed I'm really struggling with because it's been a crutch for so long . I know that Jesus will help me I've just got to trust in Him I want to present myself clean before Him so that He can use me for His Glory . It's hard to give this one thing up and I know I must give it up I know that I must put God first in everything and every part of my life that I give to Him to take control of and trust in Him that His plan for my life so much better . I need prayer please .
Any road well traveled will eventually have ruts worn into it where the wheels of the vehicles have traveled across it again and again. Certain habits, patterns, and practices can become incredibly hard to break, as when we attempt to turn the vehicle, we hit the sides of the rut and encounter a lot of friction and a steep incline. Even if we're able to climb it and get a wheel or two out, it's easy to slide back into the rut, because that's where the path of our life patterns want to go.
Take heart and be encouraged. Each time you encounter friction, you're wearing down the sides of that rut and filling the trench back in. It may take time, as some of our sinful life habit's are dug deep, but God is right there with us helping to push us back onto the path again and again. At first it may feel like hours or even minutes before we feel that slope drawing us back down. But the longer we fight, the more times we climb out, that slope gradually becomes less and less steep. Eventually there are days, weeks, maybe even months between times we feel that weight dragging us back. Given time, it will get easier as you dig a new path walking in God's grace. Have courage and continue to fight the good fight.
