The flowers on Colour My World could be also cherry blossoms instead for Cereza , the concept art for Bayo's new outfit mentions the floral motif for her this time around is cherry blossoms instead of roses, Viola's Bullkiss has also a floral design as well but the with two petals pointing up and one down like actual violets. This however means that they both have range weapons with floral motifs based on their actual names.
Actually, you are 100% correct. Thank you so much! I just looked at the concept for Bayonetta (I didn't think to look for some reason). She has the same flowers on her outfit as the charms on the guns and they are known as sakura/cherry blossom flowers. I think what happened was when I looked at Bull Kiss's concept art and it said the flowers are violets and thought they looked similar. I guessed wrong lol
I thought the Pillar in G Pillar could be a reference to Lot's wife becoming a pillar of salt when looking back at Sodom. Cause, yknow, Sodom and Gomorrah
I adore Abracadabra, but the one thing I have against it is the pure randomness (which is the appeal) of the gun button makes it a bit tough to consciously do improvisation combos. Still like a 9/10 weapon.
Favorite new abilities is hands down the Demon Masquerade. I like to think that those are the forms that the Umbra will become after dying and after spending time in Inferno will turn into in order to serve the demon they've contracted with.
Yeah, it's really cool, if you hold the charge, it's a V shape. Following the tradition of the first initial of their name and a shape. I would've mentioned it here but I already did in a different video lol
I've read BZ55 as BUZZ this entire time cause... flies'n'frogs. Cool to know there's more depth in its references though! I also somehow completely missed its high-heel stands. The amount of Fae involvement throughout Bayonetta's weapons seriously makes me hope that Origins will go in-depth regarding whatever they are or what happened to them. They seem to be everything from bullet fodder to demons to blacksmiths.
The Gunbai Simoon is actually used in game when press Y. When you press Y, the fan opened in a full rotation so the edges form a handle and the feathers gather together in the Gunbai formation.
It's an interesting touch that the visual effect on bayonetta steps changes depending on the weapon, My favorite weapon in this game is the Ribit Libido, for being a spear type weapon and for how creative it is
I love the baking bit...cuz i love baking show fake drama. I saw the video, very good segmentation of the video and easy short explanations. Thanks very informative
The ignis yoyo is my favorite for obvious reasons, color my world, abracadabra and alruna are like a 8/10. And G-pillar is my least favorite. Also congrats on 1.2k subs
Im about 100% sure that tartarus is one of the most Powerful lore wise,i also have a theory that the Rose pedals that appear when walking are blood of umbran witches since she consumed them
I feel like The Colour My Worlds where supposed to represent the Bayonettas, the hammer for one the weird side gems for 2, and the gun in itself is purple therefore representing 3
Jennifer Hale is Kiyoshi?! I never knew that! That aside, I wish they kept the weapon mix-matching in the game, I love how they tried a more creative approach, but I would have loved it more if I could use Color My World on the hands and Alruna on the feet
Tartarus' design reminds me of the same Gates of Hell architecture created by Auguste Rodin(main inspiration to the character of the same name). Abracadabra is also pretty OP, just saying.
I always found it odd that all for one are in all three games I feel like it wouldn’t make sense if it went All for one one for all and then three musketeers but I get why it’s kept the same throughout and I think it’s probably my favorite weapon from the entire series
I love All 4 One too. Technically, Scarborough Fair (and the handguns) are also in all 3 games. But I understand what you mean, I feel like Jeanne just really likes her set of guns and probably feels dedicated to them. While Bayonetta likes to change her main set to go with her new appearances or styles. At least they changed the combo list this time to update All 4 One instead of using the same moveset as Scarborough Fair lol
True that’s what I was thinking as well although part of me kind of wishes they would’ve kept it the same so there was an easy access to The Scarborough Fair Place style without having to buy the first game again for my switch or replay the records of time or that one section during the singularity definition fight over and over
Scarborough Fair and Love is Blue should have been unlockable once you beat the game or even make it available if you pure platinum the story or something. I really dislike paywalls.
My guess as to why she used Gomorrah during the final boss fight is because it focuses on power. Its heft and massive amount of firepower probably outscales Madama B. storywise and Bayo wanted to fire full throttle at him.
Madama Butterfly can shatter meteors, and fight the Audito in hand to hand combat. She's KNOWN in Inferno for her power and brutality so I would say she's stronger than Gommorah. Gommorah just has all those teeth and claws, plus a bigger laser so he gets the job done faster
I already talked about Rodin in my weapons of Bayonetta 1 and 2 video and they are essentially the same as in 2 lol I will talk about them in the next video on the techniques though.
4:43 I'd just like to mention that even though Gomorrah has turned against Bayo in the second game, both times he went against Cereza in 3 were justified In the prologue, their contract stated that he'd eat ANGELS in exchange for keeping Cereza alive, so she broke the contract In the final boss fight, her umbran watch broke and fell off, which literally ENDED the contract, giving Gomorrah the freedom and right to smack Cereza if he so pleased I can't say the same for the prologue, but in terms of the boss fight literally every other demon would've done EXACTLY the same, including madama
Personally, I don't agree with Madama Butterfly doing the same since her description in 3 says that they've grown to have a bond beyond the terms of the contract. I'm not blaming Gomorrah too much, I'm blaming Cereza for being dumb to choose Gomorrah again instead of Madama Butterfly for the above reason. I understand he doesn't go for non-angels normally. That's Cereza's fault for doing the same thing twice. To my understanding, her contract ends when she dies and/or doesn't sacrifice angels, not when the watch breaks, even though the watch breaking will lead to one of those two things. The watch simply carries the magic of the witch and grants immortality to a degree. The contract itself isn't to keep a witch alive, it's to allow the witches to summon/control demons and use the powers of Inferno in exchange for their souls and the duty to sacrifice angels.
@@UmbranLumen Last I checked the Umbran Watch and it's magic is what binds the witch to the contract, and if it breaks it basically nullifies the existence of it, so the demon can have the freedom to smack around whoever it sees
Without the watch's magic, a witch can no longer hold control of the demons, which is why Gomorrah attacked. Umbra Witches have this watch before the contract exists. Cereza had it since she was a little girl, and it was probably infused with most of her magic when she did her Witchly Vows. After this, she formed a contract with Madama Butterfly/Inferno. The watch holds the magic she needs to make and uphold the contract. Without it, she can't use most of her magic and can't control her summons. The destruction of the watch doesn't in itself break the contract, but it makes it very difficult to uphold. If she hadn't summoned a demon, she would probably be fine if her watch was destroyed, except she'd no longer be immortal and would probably no longer have the sufficent magic to summon demons. She'd have some innate magic but not enough to control demons. We will probably see more of this and the true answer in Bayonetta Origins, hopefully.
Gommorah doesn't give a fuck about the contract or the witch he is summoned by. He is aggressive and territorial and the best way to keep him from turning on you is to feed him. The watch breaking didn't "end" the contract, it just made it easier to break out of Bayonetta's control and kill her. Her death is what ended the contract. Gommorah was the only demon shown to actively turn on its summoner. All the other demons joined Bayonetta's fight against Singularity willingly. Especially Madama Butterfly. Bayonetta says to her "I bet you were dying for some action too!" And then she becomes available for you and every time she's summoned, you can obviously see she enjoys being there. And the archive for her states that her and Bayo's relationship goes beyond their contract so it's safe to say shes views Bayonetta more as a friend instead of a mistress
@@KuriaruisBetterThanU Gommorah was able to attack Bayonetta in 2, even when her watch was in pristine condition The watch is there to grant agelessness and channel a bit of their power. Demons like Gommorah are harder to control because of their more wild nature so the watch HELPS but it's not the main thing controlling them.
Tartarus with umbrage clock tower is my favorite weapon in this game, wear the pendant of talos and you get the ability to distract enemies, occasional free witch time and high dps via the guns, which are cool as always.

100% yes
I just love how color my world combines the good things about the previous guns and adds more to it to make it stand on its own
Bayonetta's main guns are always iconic.
