Goodness I do remember this series and the t.v show..I loved it. Diana was a BAD girl. It is so cool that you are doing this.....thank you!!!
2:32 When she chews gum like every frizzy haired 80's woman did
This is beautiful! I wish I could do these on a daily basis and send in pictures!
So pleased to see you created the lizard skin like that!! I thought it would be a pre-made prosthetic or made with sculpt gel onto the skin (out of my budget) but now I know I can make this awesome makeup on myself for cheap, might use gelatine for the ripped skin around it! Thanks guys!
Glad you like it =) We try to keep exotic products to a minimum so that most of our viewers can recreate the makeups. Gelatine will probably work great as well. The difficulty is when the skin is moving and stretching in the face though.
You guys should do a video about the joker from death of the family. He has his face torn off. Its crazy. My you guys please give it a try?
Like this comment if you guys agree that they should ^-^
I cannot like this comment enough. That would be AMAZING.

This is a really cool look well done
Love it! V!
Trying to do this look tonight!
Wow amazing as always
Best intro ever! 😍😍😍
wowwww ustedes si son unos artistas!!!!!!!!!!!
oh my fucking trypophobia when they were making the mask
+Nadiah Aidid interesting, the definition of trypophobia is irregular patterns of holes. yet the mask is an organised pattern of raised dots. either you dont have trypophobia at all. or your trypophobia is so intense that your brain analyses all circular objects in that way. perhaps.
+attackthecanvas no like when they put the holes into the clay before it went on her face
This was awesome!
i love the back story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So very cool!!!
I love your videos SO much!!!!!!
Thank you SO much! :D
your videos are amazing they r really good for tips here and there when either applying latex or blending colors together etc. im 14 years old and i really want to become a pro make up artist i have just started doing make up for people (mainly my friends) for money like for either Halloween, public pranks, etc love ur vids
I saw this series a was about 7 years old . that series was all ready about 4 years old 1987 . but It was a topic of that time. aliens movies are really cool.
I watched it kinda late as well, in the 90's. it was great 👍
I love you guys so much

THE REPTILIAN ARMY HISSSSS
I like the beginning.
Hisssss RISE MY REPTELIAN BROTHERS
remember is to live , good tutorial ... greetings from peru
Brilliant video! Loved the simple, innovative way you achieved a really effective reptile flesh look. I'd have never thought of doing it like that, and wasted loads of time and effort. A question regarding sculpt gel though - how did you use it over the top of latex and get it to set? Latex is notorious for stopping this stuff from going off. The first time I used it I made this error and blew the whole effect, as the sculpt gel remained as goop. Actually sculpt gel is known for being temperamental in quite a few situations. Did you add something to it? Please reply, I'm dying to know how you achieved this, thanks.
Brilliant!
Some people ask about what brand you use because they don't know much about the brands that provide these products.
Would you guys please do a video that just talks about some brands you use or that carry this type of makeup?
wow your work is amazing ! the skin looks flawless i really need to find a good foundation for my freelance kit is there one that you would recommend which i could buy off line ? would really be helpful to know thank you :)
In French the "reptil" Swedish prounonciation is the same ^_^
Great make up, as always !
I am making a full mask for a comic con. If I used that technique ( that you used) I am going to cast my face but I mean by layering the latex. And how many layers would it take to be a stiffer mask?
sfx amino uses this for the cover! 😄
Så sjukt snyggt!
Did Ellie ever go to beauty/makeup school?
Yup, I'm an educated stylist.
No 😂 She is self taught
Anyone know the name of the song they play while doing it?
It's just a silly cover song we made based on the original music in the tv series from 1983 =)
+ellimacs sfx makeup oh it sounds really good I love it!
ellimacs sfx makeup hi!!!! you're my first makeup RUclipsr!!!!!!
Omg my dad loves v he has it
Could you do a mistique look with this methode? That would be cool.
how well can the model move her face with the sculpting gel applied and does the sculpt gel harden?
Really late! But i plan to do this for halloween, how did you make the costume/outfit?
i love the look!!! :) what foundation did you use? greetings from germany
Aren't you not supposed to use latex around the eyes due to the ammonia in it? That's what I have heard, but I'm not an expert so :)
Cheshire Kat you can buy professional latex with very little to no ammonia in it. the high ammonia latex are much cheaper and easier to buy.
This liquid latex that you use, is normal liquid latex or a special type for makeups? And... I'm from Brazil and here I do NOT find sculpt gel anywhere. Do you know some website that I can purchase and do ship worldwide? PLEASE! And love your videos!!!!
Thiago T. There probably are lots of latex brands so look in your local store. This was not specifically made for makeup. Sculpt Gel can be hard to find so try a product like 3rd degree www.alconeco.com/special-fx/3rd-degree
Hey I am confused about the latex. The eye part you drew. Did you cut that piece out? And then cut it in 2 to put the one over her brow and under eye?
ashley karina Yeah, exactly =)
I thought sculpt gel were for nails under UV light?? :)
Thank you for the videos! You do a great job!
I Love your face paint taturial
How many layers of liquid latex would you suggest to put on the polymer clay to have the best mask thickness? Big fan of your work btw
Depends a little on how deep you make your reptile patterns in the clay. It should be thick enough to hold together but not too thick. Start with 3 layers.
@@ellimacssfx I would think that this also depends on what type of latex is being used. Makeup or skin latex is thinner so more layers may be needed as opposed to a casting latex used to make masks. Which promotes the question, Elli, which type of latex did you use for this? Thanks 👍
Can you u use any oil for the eyebrows and face or do you need a specific kind of oil
I wanna pop it! It looks like bubble wrap lol
Så bra gjort 👍🏻
DAMN! awsome
Hello from the future year of 2019. Would you still use grease paint if you did this look again?
Quick Question. How would you cover up rough seams, in a mask?
I want to create this for a Halloween party but I have 2 questions... I'm using cotton pads and latex for the flappy skin but how do I blend the edges out? and is the paint you use face paint?
+lalalalala lilililili you can blend out the edges by brushing on more latex sans cotton over the edge where you want it to blend in to the skin. They usually use grease paints in their videos, which are long lasting, safe for your skin, and don't dry and crack as easily as water activated ones. Hope that helps!
thanks that's fantastic!
May I ask, what products do you suggest for young beginners? Because I have a right budget but makeup is my greatest passion and it would be greatly appreciated :)
It's hard to suggest any particular brand or product but for most of our makeups you get a long way with liquid latex, cottonpads and what ever paint your budget allows. The brand is never important. You being creative and imaginative is however very important. Also, things like gelatine and other food related products can be cost effective to use.
What kind of clay are you using? Will regular Polymer clay work? I'm going to use a similar process to make dragon chest pieces and I can't find a good answer for that online.
I was wondering the same thong. Did you try it?
omg I've never seen elli without her long nails lol XD
Can I also put sfx gelatin in the clay-mold instead of latex??😅
Can you do a latex free fax video I'm allergic to latex n would love to do a recreation
where is the best place to purchase those crazy
contact lenes? I really don't want them to hurt my eyes though.
I wonder how you remove the latex from the clay mold? Mine is gooey. Probably not dry enough yet.
aprilsno43012 yeah I had that problem. Had to peel clay off, took a while
Hi!! I have a question, where do you buy the Sculpt Gel??
Will cotton and latex really do okay instead of sculpt gel
+theflipsidegamez :D Sculpt gel is easier and less messy but tissue and latex is another good alternative. You just layer latex and tissue, let it dry and make the edge flappy by pulling it gently off the skin. I haven't tried cotton and latex but it sounds messy af. Imagine all those little fibres piling together in the latex.
+Heidi Pharo well sculpt gel is hard to get. And I'm planning to do this as my first SFX makeup on my friend tomorrow night. I think I'll be fine.
Can you just use any sort of clay for this for the mold???
do you know who plays diana in this video ?? thanks
has caroline larsson got any other videos of herself?? thanks............
I am intrigued by the term "sculp-gel". What is it?
+Steven Bentley Never mind. I found it. It's a three-part silicone. I've used two-part silicone, but not under that name. Thanks for the amazing effects, though. They are definitely inspirational.
How come you have someone else voice over your videos and you don't do it just wondering 💕
Are these water based paints or alcohol?
