That folder was non-existent for me, so I uninstalled it (Illustrator), gave the registry a sweep, reinstalled it and double-checked both inbound and outbound connections were blocked. Job done.

hi, i did everything as per this video, but as of today, it no longer works... am i the only one encountered this? did it 2x just to make sure i have terminated all Adobe processes before i deleted the said folder in its folder, then restarted my pc before running any related apps.. but still the POP UP re-appeared, I've checked the folder it did not recreate the GCI folder tho.. :(

I did this last time, but I forgot to close any other running Adobe programs. The folder was re-created automatically, but this time I closed every adobe program before modifying the folder name and restarting my PC. Let's hope it works better this time!

same. I'm guessing what ever GCI software did has now been built directly into the programs themselves. The solution might be to remove and reinstall and then prevent any and all updates. But haven't tried this just yet. Really annoying because I was suppose to be working on some texturing for model I'm building as a hobby not figuring out what Adobe done to disable the software on my computer.

I just got mine recently, for some reason I couldn't find the GCClient folder, is the CCLibraries & CCX Process being the new culprit? I hope a Firewall blockade can stop both of them including Photoshop.exe
I'll ensure my Photoshop 2023 remains my prisoner away from Adobe control.
