    At no point do you see the result of half the project i.e. the mirror. Without the mirror it's just a TV in a frame.

    I feel like theres a MIRROR missing from this "mirror tv"? I'm looking to build an actual usable mirror that has a tv hidden behind it that's only visible when the tv turns on. Have you seen these and do you have a video on one like that? This just looked black when the screen was dark. Sweet frame though. Looked pretty awesome but seemed more of a framed tv than a mirror.

    • @twowaymirrors
      @twowaymirrors  4 года назад +1

      LOL! We don't actually pop the mirror into the frame until around the 10 minute mark so I can see how that would be confusing. Good point!

    A lot of people seem to be skipping through the video. He definitely uses a dielectric mirror. It is a very small part of the video right before the the sensor is installed. This is a good guide to build a sweet mirror tv. Good job.

    • @twowaymirrors

      No issues with it, the small gap that the bezel creates has no noticeable effect. The glass can sit against the bezel.

      @@darrellhooper9973 That's really hard to do--I've tried that before and it's difficult to cut it exactly and the glue around the edges makes it look bad. For that reason, I cut the glass to the overall size of the TV instead.

      @DL-kc8fc 3 года назад +3

      @@twowaymirrors I know what you did, but the video lacks a nice example of the effect, ie turning off the screen and perfect reflection of the environment, turning on the screen ..., turning off ... turning on ... at least 20 seconds long, so that everyone can enjoy the effect and become your potential customer. The video rather angered the audience (I judge according to the responses in the discussion) and the whole video is basically nothing. Your reactions are like a politician's reaction - absolutely off topic and without apology that the video is shot badly. Experience with "spy mirrors" of all kinds is not necessary. It works on its own with cheap chrome semi-transparent mirrors.
