Hi Bill , another entertaining video. Hope you guys are doing well down there. Have fun and stay safe. Another couple months it'll be spring and then the spring and summer work will begin. Crazy how fast time is flying by.

Great job Bill!! I have a similar tree that has fallen and is wedged between to others. tis is a great way to get at it without exposure to a dangerous situation.

Hello Dan, I hope all is well with you and your family. Yeah, I've had good luck with these things. They're relatively inexpensive and do keep us safe.
      Have a good February -Bill

good job I can put a 12000 winch on the rear of the 2038r to winch out tree logs from the woods

I would have put the loader down on the ground when rehooking and not totally relied on the brakes. Could have been fishing the tractor out of the pond too.

Cool video. Like you said the forestry winches aren't cheap but they are definitely the way to go if you are doing a lot of skidding and other forestry work. Plus you can pull yoursrlf and other equipment out with them when you get stuck. Its a lot easier on your tractor as well.

Good point Skinnymoose! If I every find a bag of money in the woods, Id buy one of those forestry winches.👍
