  • Using a John Deere 2038R, I'll review a Land Plane made by Everything Attachments.
The Land Plane can be used to fill in pot holes, washed areas, low spots, washboard areas and recover gravel with the Everything Attachments Land Leveler-Land Plane.
It is a very easy implement to use for smoothing gravel driveways or roads. Hook up to your category 1 or 2 three point hitch, adjust your top link until flat and level and immediately improve your driveway or road bed as the material flows over the first edge and is leveled by the back edge. You can use your adjustable down link from your 3 point hitch to make a crown on your road if desired.
Welcome to my channel, I'm in Dubuque Iowa, and my channel is known as Today in Iowa or Bill Burkhart 1025 and I'm a do it yourselfer & rural enthusiast. Be sure and check out my channel and the many videos including the John Deere 2038r compact tractor and the John Deere 1025R loader backhoe, and the many implements I use to maintain my property.

Looks to me like the blades are not setup correctly. The gravel a should go over front blade first then go over back blade. So the full rig isn’t level. In this video the back blade was filling up first. At least in my opinion.

Hi Bill, sending regards from Tampa, Fl.
    Good informative video as
always Bill. I dont comment often, but always try to catch your videos. Im moving to a home with a 500ft driveway to maintain. I already own a box blade and was considering a land plane. Was nice to see it action. I think I could get by with a box blade but those are better from moving material from on place to another where the land plane as the name implies is for leveling.
    Be well.
    Rudy

Hello Rudy, Nice to hear from you, thanks for taking time to say hello and comment. Good luck on your move, just wondering if your driveway is level or has slopes to it.
Glad the video gave you some information to help you make the decision on purchasing a land plane.- Bill

@@billburkhart Hey Bill, the drive has a very gradual slope down towards the house, but it is flat. Born and raised in Florida I was always envious of those areas of the country with hills and mountains. Haha.
So next I will be contemplating what to use stone, crust concrete, or asphalt millings. A lot of people in this area use millings.
