Some_ Person the ending is to show that the NANOSUIT recreated prophet out of memories left in the suit and replaced Alcatraz with prophet effectively killing him and reserecting him as Laurence barnes A.K.A prophet
Prophet's nanosuit got another "upgrade" they unlocked the nanites in the suit meaning that the nanobots can now do molecular reconstruction, we see this in the end of crysis 3 where the suit has reconstructed itself to look like prophet's skin/face/clothes etc and then enter into stealth mode.
Depends on what suit we are talking about, Nanosuit 1 is the first idea of an nano enchanted solider, more strength, faster, armor, stealth its all you need for an one man army. In nanosuit 2.0 we got every thin we had before but better plus ability to merge with the user to heal them (alcatraz is a walking corpse, most of his organs have been replaced with by the suit) In nanosuit 2.1 we have a walking bio weapon nano suit with were the human host is dead and the machine believes it is prophet. Literally a semi dead human which is replaced by nanoboys each day and an AI of some sorts that had the consciousness of prophet. Now is crysis 3 the nanosuit 2.1 is clearly shown to have nothing to do with alcatraz and is a walking AI nano hive that believes to be prophet. Once it gets its final and most powerful upgrade, the nanite unlock we essentially have nanobot utopia, thing transcendence movie, the nanovots are able to recreate anything they want, that's how we get prophet (again the machine believing to be prophet) in the actual flesh but he shows us its all nanites imitating flesh/cloths etc. Which means he can do virtually anything. Thing iron man's bleeding edge armor, any weapon he chooses can be recreated by the nanites. He may even be able to change molecules by rearranging them and change mater. Also he can't die, as long as the nanites have energy they can reproduce and remake any lost bots.
"In nanosuit 2.1 we have a walking bio weapon nano suit with were the human host is dead" The suit needs a living human body so Alcatraz is definitely not dead.. or atleast his body is very much alive otherwise Prophet would not be functional
@@marco002 What he probably means is that the Nanosuit 2.1 is what's keeping who was then Alzatraz alive. Without it. he'd be, as Hargreaves put it, 'dead men walking.'
@@marco002 technically, both Alcatraz's and Prophet's consciousness died, only the corpse remained for the suit to use. But due to symbiosis, it saved their consciousness into its database and due to Alcatraz's data degradation, it put his consciousness away in storage permanently and chose Prophet's as its leading consciousness, inheriting his ideals. Alcatraz did die at the end of C2, but at Prophet's encouragement he continued on for many years together with Prophet "We gotta go back. Back to where we are needed" The suit did exactly what Hargreave intended, turning the soldier into post-human warriors who see death as just an inconvenience. But due to how the suit would protect its wearer, another grim way to describe these super soldiers is dead men walking
Correction both nanosuit 1 and 2 could merge with the user but nanosuit 1 could only do it when growing into injuries and couldn’t enter the body unless the wearer recieved a injury for it to fix while 2 could actively convert it wearers body into nanomachines and replace/convert organs along with doing more merging TLDR: the nanosuit 1 could only merge with wearer by growing into wounds while the nanosuit 2 could and would actively merge with the wearer much more completely

People really underestimate how power-full carbon nanotubes are, if you replaced every muscle in your body with CNT of the same size then you would gain incredible physical prowess, you’d be throwing cars like tennis balls.
One of the things that set Crysis apart from other games is that instead of controlling a character in a nanosuit, it feels and plays like you’re controlling the armor itself
Not sure about the first game but starting from the second game we really do rather play the role of nanosuit rather than the characters since Alcatraz is technically just a living battery for the suit. Precisely we are playing the role of the suit’s artificial intelligence who firmly believes he is Prophet himself .

i never ubderstood what happened to Alcatraz at the end of the game. Crysis 3 is 20 yrs later and Prophet is the same black guy as is at in the 1st game
In the end of the 2nd part when he enters that spore chamber, the alien spore corrupts alcatraz's memory. This forces Prophet's conscience to take over because the suit can store memories and personalities of other users.
