They REALLY need to issue a patch that allows for more residents. 57 people just isn't enough given the size of the island. I want my island to be bustling and jam-packed with citizenry and monsters!
They round that up to 60 post-game. A whole three extra people. I was mildly salty over that.

@@Luguolo Ah, yes. Buildertopia. The thing the DQB RUclipsrs refuse to talk about. All I know is that it is a randomly generated island, and in the final free content patch will be upgraded to THREE islands, one of which will be used to summon Captain Whitebones and the Ark back into the game. How the system CURRENTLY works, however, is a complete unknown to me.

They already put out the last update I believe
The main use for the golems that I've found is mining in the caverns of shining sands. Once you make it to the lowest level you can get tons of mythril and diamonds in very little time just running around like crazy and golem-punching everything.
But then we also accumulate lots of unwanted blocks, what do we do with them? Put in chest?
Now I know! We can delete them from our bag!
Personally I like riding a golem to also help handle large monsters.
What I do with all the unwanted blocks is store them. Thousands of them. Then when I go to and island to farm stuff I take about 5000 with me. I use them with the trowel to get grass blocks since I don’t have the ultimallet yet.
Although it won't influence much you missed a couple of things about a couple of monsters.
When using slimes as mounts you'll take no fall damage no matter how far you drop, kinda redundant when you have the sailcloth, but worth mentioning.
Also chimeras can cook food so when not in your party they should be assigned to your kitchen area.

Tips for the metal slimes:
1. Bring a poison needle with you. You won't get any 0 damage "hits" with that.
2. Make some fish and chips and eat them so you can run fast in water
and 3. Bring a chimaera to make finding these guys a bit easier.
Killing machine has a trick. Put chest with seeds in it next to tilled earth. They use 1 seed to seed a 3x3 square area. Just use hammer to get all 9 seeds. So you get 8 seeds for every 1 seed used.

Nice. I wish monster companions doesn't count as part of population or else I would add 20 mech hunter as a farming factory.

Oh man! When I finished watching this video I wanted to go ahead and try to find the Great Sabrecat and see if I could find it! I found it in under 3 minutes, fought it while also dealing with snails and corpses, and as soon as I beat it, the Sabrecat immediately wanted to be friends! First try! I am never this lucky, haha! Thank you very much for the video! Now that I have the Sabrecat (and a Sabrecub which I got right after), I will try for a golem! I just started building the area of the red tablet and I want everything to be sand!
Yeah, I had the same experience I saw the grrat sabercat and got it first try, then a second time i saw one I killed it for fun and got it again.

One thing abauth golems. They hold aggro on boss monsters pretty well.
I personally like to ride them on the offensive, it feels fun to punch larger monsters, I think the golem are also not very slow, making it possible to avoid attacks.

I got the great sabrecat in my third tries. It jumps way higher than the cubs and definitely worth getting.

My Chimaera also cooks on my restaurant. But only on the restaurant, I never saw them cooking on a normal kitchen.

I love that there is monster taming in this game, but... so few good ones are recruitable. Like, you can recruit generic slimes, bland constructs and ugly zombies, but not cool monsters like horny hare, Hackasaurus, dragons, werewolves, orcs, etc.!?
At least they give you Powie Yowie. *hugs fat yeti*
If you have trouble with the golems, use castle tiles to build up, he can’t hit you 5 blocks up
I really wish each Golem has its own special, like Golden Golem will make ground into... Gold, not sand :(

I have 3 killing machines and they are the best farmers!! They give lots of hearts! If you plant random plants throughout your gardens they will harvest them too!
Darktatter as well as water them and if you have “special vegetables”, they will harvest them and dyes they give off as well

I got today the recipe for taming monsters. after coming home from secaltraz I built a little bit and ship than to the first isle and find the great sabercat. and first try he is my friend 💕 how op is this cat atm. happy day. 😍
ive never been able to get the hands to work on a blue print is there a trick to it. i have the pc ver.
Just FYI. All golems can help build as well.
Heck yeah!! Wriggly, Golem, and Powie Yowie were all I knew that could change the terrain. I will be going Slime crazy though. I aim to get 50 of each Slime type!!

Just got the sabrecat! Finally on #17! So its faster and jumps 3/7 blocks instead of 2/5
i prefer the cub even when i get the adult one. AFTER CHAPTER 2 TO AFTER CHAPTER 3 that cub is useful for beginners. don't call everything useless.
Bruh I've seen people with gigantes on their island they have befriended as well as skelotons other than that who knows everything that can be tamed might be related to how many you've killed

I really enjoy your content but I always struggle to finish them. Constructive criticism; The amount you use the word "like" makes the videos difficult to finish. I'm talking 50-100 times in some videos. Often, 2-5 times in the same sentence.

I dont write scripts, i just go with the info that is in my head otherwise it will consume a lot of time from my side. Maybe when i manage to get better equipment i might do that. -MD

I have two mounts, the great sabercat and the chimiara then the rest are workers, I have three mechs for farming the main area, I then have the actual farmers at the stepp (third section) to feed others, on my builder-topia will have a combo of machine and farmer

Why do items disappear on moonbrooke when you leave castle? My steel gates, swings, airlift things outside the gate. Are villagers hiding 🤔 my stuff for food? They always digging!
Killed sabrecat 16 times now and all i have to show for it are 16 statues... is he really tamable or are people FOS
I got him the second time facing him although my first time facing him I didn't have the food and was just exploring it so of course I got the statue he drops of himself. Anyways, the other day when I decided to go look for him since I had the treats now, I found him, kicked his butt and he wanted to be my friend. So I was happy I got him without having to kill him over and over again. LOL
Felt so lucky during my second play through right now lmao got the golden golem and liquid metal slime first time I fought them 🤣 still no big sabercat though
I got to heal slimes on my team and it was so shocking because that is super rare

the great sabrecub isn't the same as the sabrecat adult. the adult can jump like 3 times as high as the cub so it's definitely way better
This is why the 5 stars for the sabrecat and 4 stars for the sabrecub, sabrecub us easier and faster to be friends with than the sabrecat. -MD

I really don't understand the part where you say That you can recruit them to your party. Cuz once you tame them and take them to the Isle of Awakening and then assign them to a location, it's not like they will follow you around like Malroth does.
You can actually add them into your party from the Citizen Registery, they will follow you if you visit the small islands or the island which they are originally from. -MD

How do you assign a merchant to a shop or bloody hand to a blueprint? Is it the same and assigning someone to a room?
For the blueprint, just put the materials in a nearby chest and they will do the job as for the shop you need to use the name tag. -MD

Its random, it will happen automatically. It will take few tries before it can be tamed sometimes, also make sure you have your monster munchies ready. -MD
