- Here are 5 things I WISH I knew before moving out of home! These tips would have been so helpful to know at the beginning of my search, but at least now I can pass them on to you.
A 12-month-long journey, and we've finally made it! I sometimes have to pinch myself because I can't believe that this is all happening. It's crazy to me that I used to think I would never find a rental. I feel so grateful now that I'm in this space in which I can express myself creatively, learn and grow independently. I wish the same for all of you looking to move, so hopefully, this video can help!
I delve into various topics such as finding housemates, communication, budgeting, habits, how to get approved for a property (the do's and don'ts - especially as a young person looking for a rental) etc...
Moving is a challenging yet exciting journey, and I've experienced the heartbreak when you don't get accepted for a house, when a housemate isn't the right fit anymore, when too many houses are just out of budget, when the rental crisis is so intense you lose hope. But keep going, because tomorrow may be the day you stumble across the house that's meant for you.
Melbourne's rental crisis: www.news.com.au/national/vict...
The Melbourne rental market has become tighter than Sydney’s, with data from Domain showing a 64 per cent drop in rental listings over the last year.
The same data shows Melbourne’s rental vacancy rate hit a record low of 0.8 per cent in February.
That’s down from a peak of six per cent in December 2020, just after the Victorian capital came out of some lengthy Covid lockdowns.
The latest PropTrack Market Insight Report released on Monday shows properties listed on realestate.com.au for less than $400 per week fell to 17.6 per cent in February 2023 - the lowest it’s been since 2018.

Hi! I am Jooyoung and I am Korean. I am planning to go to Australia for a working holiday this year, but I am not good at English. So I looked up the English channel and I got to know your channel! Australian pronunciation is still difficult, but I'm trying to get used to it by watching videos steadily from today! Thank you for continuously uploading videos. I'll always watch it! Thank you 💗
Love the way you put your application essay. Yes its best to be specific with your group, and make sure you stick to your budget and have enough left over for spare cash. List all (not just most) of your fortnightly expenses. Yes cooking saves money, depends on your schedule too, some days its cheaper to buy lunch or dinner. I find it best to make and have breakfast at home rather than buy it. I live in a great seaside suburb of Wellington. I'm happy you got the place yous wanted.
Yes! I think it’s important to share specifics with people. Absolutely, HelloFresh is also a good alternative for busy bees. Thank you for sharing these tips ☺️

Hi
Hey
early!!
woohoo!
All she says is bs since she is young I have lived in Sydney since I’ve moved here and all you need to do to get the place is say you will pay the full bond and full 3-6 months in advance and there is no way you will get rejected
