I studied media comms x marketing/public relations and did a lot of sports media subjects. I ended up meeting a great unit conveyor who was an advocate for women in sport and she got me an internship at the AFL, and from there I got my dream job right out of uni.
I used to pass by Swinburne many years ago on the train to Flinders Street when it was a trade school. It was a dingy, dark place then so good to see they've brightened it up considerably. That Glenferrie/Hawthorn area has a lot of charm, so it deserves a quality campus.
