The main difference between Islam and Christianity that makes me a Muslim, is that i believe in Judaism and Christianity, i believe that god sent Jesus with bible and sent Moses with Taurah, just like he sent Mohammad with Qur'an. while Christians on the other hand sees the Qur'an as some bullshit written by a crazy man. Genuine question tho, how can you believe in Christianity and Islam at the same time? There are conflicting messages regarding who God is between both religions. For instance, Christianity is centred around Jesus being the incarnated God that was crucified for our sins, while in Islam, Jesus is a beloved prophet that is not divine and was not crucified. That being said, the God of Christianity and the God of Islam is not the same.

As an Athiest, I don't get how Christians get authority over other Christians, and can literally change the Religion. I also don't understand the Trinity, like god is one but you have to worship 3 people? Islam is more logical, and there is nothing that I couldn't understand. Anyhow, people who didn't receive the message of Islam (i.e. people who lived before Islam, or people who didn't hear about Islam like people before telecommunication or nowdays north Korea) will be judged by their behavior, not by their belief. I said North Korea because they can't reach a legitimate source of information (e.g. Islamic centers or mosques). However, this not the case for those who have the capability to aquire information from a legitimate source.

When a Muslim says the prophets before the prophet Muhammad were Muslims. Actually, It don't mean to say that they follow the same teachings as Islam today, but to emphasize that they do taught the same thing as the prophet Muhammad, namely to believe in One God and that teaching is called Tawhid. Was choosing between the 2 religions to pursue. Thanks for the information, I’ve decided to go towards Islam. 2 main reasons - Consistent and Logical. Please start your pursue by reading quran first. As a muslim. I believe islam is corrupted by traditions and hadiths (which are not from allah). But quran is not corrupted and cant be corrupted. For example there should be no divisions but there are. Sunni and shia. Quran forbid it but it is considered normal among muslims. So i recommend following quran only and not imams or some people which considered spiritual.

Plus it's literally stated in the Qur'an that you have to follow Hadith. So if you deny the Qur'an then you're not muslim, because you're denying the 6 pillars of Iman. Right now unfortunately there is a significant amount of Muslims that want to change Europe to suit their beliefs (Sharia law); that is my only gripe with Islam currently. You cannot live in a country and expect all laws and behaviours to suit you, as i wouldn’t come to Egypt and expect you to live by my way. I just want equal rights to live how i want to which everyone gets but many want more.

Just one thing i could add is the Shia are less than 10% of muslims and us the Sunna are the rest and we don't consider most of Shia as muslims for some reasons, like they worship and call help from Ali instead of Allah and even a non Muslim knows that's a big no no in islam , Ali is a good companion of prophet Muhammad but NOT a god he is just a men, and also the Shia say bad stuff about the prophet other companions and even his wife's (they say they committed adultery and they are not muslims ...ect) and much more so we don't consider most of Shia muslims

To sum it all up, Islam is more more of a spiritual thing. No images, no icons, no statues. And Islam is more personal since it doesn’t have a hierarchy. The modern family structure that we have seen in the west given by the Catholic Church is further from the the clan structured Islam so there’s certainly a case to be made that Muslims are more tribal, at least when it comes to this matter. I was raised in both Muslim and Protestant family. To me, both Bible and Quran teach us the same thing. Be a good person and worship God. The difference is just how we pray and some of things that we believe, like Trinity and Singular Entity of God and the "final" prophet. But I find my home and peace in Christianity. Okay just so you know, don't read Quran like a normal book. QURAN was not revealed in a day but piece by piece in different times of needs. When you read the verse you should search in which year it was revealed and why to know the context. This is how you understand the Qur'an.

The part of salvation for Christianity here is wrong, the concept of "sola fide" or "faith alone" is not what we believe in neither Catholic and Orthodox churches. For us, faith without works is dead.

Muslims have to convinve others to believe in Allah, or non-muslims can search and find it. There's sometimes that you get a gut feeling that Allah is the only and the one the true god. But except that, nah. Oh and you have to believe in Allah, his prophets, the holy books and his angels. The religions that believe in a heavenly and one god are wrong. Genuine question tho, how can you believe in Christianity and Islam at the same time? There are conflicting messages regarding who God is between both religions. For instance, Christianity is centred around Jesus being the incarnated God that was crucified for our sins, while in Islam, Jesus is a beloved prophet that is not divine and was not crucified. That being said, the God of Christianity and the God of Islam is not the same.

So when people changed Torah and bible, god sent Mohammad with a textual book, quoting the exact words of God himself, no 2 people may write it in different ways.

As an Athiest, I don't get how Christians get authority over other Christians, and can literally change the Religion. Additionally, if a person lived in an era before the teachings of monotheism appeared and he followed the teachings of monotheism in that era, then they will go to the same heaven,the arrival of new teachings is to update teachings that are appropriate for that era.

Please start your pursue by reading quran first. As a muslim. I believe islam is corrupted by traditions and hadiths (which are not from allah). But quran is not corrupted and cant be corrupted. For example there should be no divisions but there are. Sunni and shia. Quran forbid it but it is considered normal among muslims. So i recommend following quran only and not imams or some people which considered spiritual.

Plus it's literally stated in the Qur'an that you have to follow Hadith. So if you deny the Qur'an then you're not muslim, because you're denying the 6 pillars of Iman. "Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war (i.e. commits acts of violence and terrorism against individuals or treason and agression against the Islamic state) against Allāh and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment"

Okay just so you know, don't read Quran like a normal book. QURAN was not revealed in a day but piece by piece in different times of needs. When you read the verse you should search in which year it was revealed and why to know the context. This is how you understand the Qur'an.
i have a statement and i don't mean to be mean, but when reading the comments of such videos i rarely see a christian saying he was a muslim

If we can prove; the bible to be the word of Allah than christians are on the right path and if we can prove the quran to be the word of Allah than Muslims are on the right path.(The reason I wrote allah because historically jesus spoke the aramaic language and the GOD in aramaic is ALLAH).....
Lets assume the both books to be the map to a destination which is paradise. Someone gave you two maps for the same destination. In one hand you have the bible but the thing is you know for sure that the bible map has been corrupted by man. People over the years have added things of their own and also putout some things from the map...And in your other hand you have the quran map which has never been changed and it is in it's pure form. Not a single thing was added in or out....
Now.. you may think, just because a book has never been changed, does not mean its from Allah....
See.. no contradictions doesnt make a book the word of Allah but if a book claims to the word of allah than it must not have any contradictions...

The part of salvation for Christianity here is wrong, the concept of "sola fide" or "faith alone" is not what we believe in neither Catholic and Orthodox churches. For us, faith without works is dead.
And works without faith do not equal salvation.
