@MARIOBERSANO-j9g the front elbow can be purchased from new holland dealers, or there is an aftermarket kit that has a bent pipe. The elbow at the rear on the manifold I don't think is available new, so you'd have to source a used one.
I don't know if you see these still but maybe you can help me ... I have a ditch with with a 192 diesel in it ...someone rebuilt yhe engine and it wasn't not yet installed ... that person died and I ended up with the machine... here is my problem... the exhaust Is acting as the in take .. so ..is the engine cracking backwards? I have it wired for negative ground ... is this the problem possibly needs positive ground ?
The diesel engines were 12v negative ground. If the engine is sucking in from the exhaust then the engine is being spun backwards by the starter. Not sure why it would be doing that though. I'd think it would have the same starter setup as my tractor but I have no clue on a ditch witch.
@@chickenhousemechanic it' was apart when I got it and the starter came with it ... ditch witch diagram shows positive wire to the. Starter post also I can't get fuel thru the injection pump ...the solenoid clicks and I have fuel to the pump ... the engine when cranking turns ccw when viewed from the rear as if you were sitting on the machine
@@jamesgibson5876 since it's a DC motor I would say yes. Never tried it though. The positive wire goes to the post and ground is case ground. Engine spinning ccw from the flywheel side is the correct rotation. Not sure how the fuel flows to the pump on a Ditch Witch. On the tractors they are just gravity feed through a filter and the injection pump has a vane style pump at the top of it that pulls fuel into the pump. Only electrical I know of on the pumps is some of them had an electric fuel shutoff on the side rectangular cover. Tractor has a manual cutoff.
I very much enjoy your videos and also have a question. I own a 1959 851D with a destroyed air intake box. I am interested in converting it to a 4000 elbow OR an original intake box IF I can find one. I have looked and called everywhere I can think to find one or the other and wonder if you have a source or suggestion. Thanks Bo
There is a place in Michigan called Smith Implements. He does a lot of salvage stuff. You can message him on Facebook. Another place I've seen is in Georgia called Farmer John's Tractor Parts. He also does salvage and can be found on Facebook.
Good day Yes very interesting video. Thanks
very nice job
Another great video
Thank you.
Love your work. Did u make any videos on your blast and paint process?
Not really but I can. Still have quite a bit to do.
I HAVE A TRACTOR JUST LIKE THIS ONE IN THE VIDEO. MY EXHAUST MANIFOLD IS BROKE AT THE OUTLET. DO YOU KNOW OF A GOOD PLACE TO FIND A REPLACEMENT?

Where did you get that exhaust elbow For the vertical exhaust
New Holland dealer part# 86534432
What size o.d. is the cast vertical exhaust elbow
I'd have to measure it to get the exact pipe size. The clamps used are 1-7/8".

Will the starter reverse direction if wired as positive ground ?

@@chickenhousemechanic Thank you
Looks great what type and brand paint did you use
The black was VHT flat black in a spray can. The blue is from New Holland mixed with some majic hardener and thinned 10% with Xylol.
