  • This easy cupcakes recipe is the Mother of all cupcakes. It makes very fluffy and soft cupcakes that can be flavoured with endless variations.
This best ever cupcakes recipe makes one simple batter which then makes endless flavour variations from Red Velvet, Hazelnut, Cookies & Cream, Maple cupcake, cinnamon oat cupcake to any other flavour that your heart may desire. You can do only one flavour or two or perhaps 12 entirely different ones. The choice is all yours. These are extremely simple and do not require any heavy machinery. Just a bowl and a whisk and Voila!
Basic Batter - Vanilla Flavoured (Makes 12-15 cupcakes )
3 Large Eggs - Room Temperature
1 cup Sugar - Fine Ground
    1/2 cup Buttermilk*
    1/2 cup Oil - Flavourless
    1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup AP Flour - Sifted
    1 tbsp Baking Powder
    1/4 tsp Salt
    * To make you own buttermilk. Mix 1tbsp of lemon juice or vinegar per 1 cup of milk. Let it stand for 10-20min till it starts getting a bit curdled.
In this video, I have shown the following cupcake variations:
    1. Chocolate Cupcake: To make an entire batch of chocolate cupcakes, replace 1/3 to 1/2 cup flour with an equal amount of cocoa powder.
    2. Hazelnut Brownie Cupcake
    3. Marble Cupcake
    4. Peanutbutter Cupcake
    5. Cookies & Cream Cupcake
    6. Maple Cupcake
    7. Cinnamon Oat Cupcake
    8. Red Velvet Cupcake
    9. Strawberry Cupcake
Make a batch of these Basic Cupcakes along with a batch of my Swiss Meringue Buttercream and you are golden. You can mix and match different frostings with different cupcake bases and have endless combinations.

@@TheHomeMakerBaker thanks.. please include the cup measurements in your recipes. Everyone has got different cup measurements

    • @TheHomeMakerBaker
      @TheHomeMakerBaker  4 года назад +1

The measuring cups are mostly the same size esp in US canada n in middle east/asia. They use 150gm cup size so anytime there is a cup measure its according to the measuring cups. Hope this clarifies :)

    • @aninditaadhikary2580

@@TheHomeMakerBaker I don't think so...some cups measure 250 gms, some 150 grams and that's why many viewers get confused. I myself have two cups one measures 100 gms and the other 150 grams. And since people are following your recipes it is better if you always write the exact measurements like a professional. Hope you take it in a positive way

    • @TheHomeMakerBaker

That is very strange. I have always seen 150gm and 125gm sizing but i will keep that in mind in future, thanks for the suggestion :)
